The media could not be loaded. I was pleased to try this 'Uizza Wooden Stool for Tree Stump, Coffee Table, Side Table Made in Solid, Plant Stool with Natural Solid Wood'. I thought it would be nice for a side table, although it looks a little short by my sofa. I will use it for a plant stand on my landing. The stool I received measures 40cm tall x 27cm diameter. It is lighter in weight than I had expected - that must be the property of the particular wood and that there is a 10cm hole right up the middle.The problem I have with this wooden stool is that it is just a turned raw piece of wood. There has been no treatment added - I hadn't realised that I was getting a craft project. There is no way I could use it like it is because it is not attractive, and it leaves light dusty marks on surfaces. It just doesn't look right without a polished or varnished surface. Also, I think that if used for a side table, coffee rings etc., would not be removable, having absorbed into the grain. Luckily, I do a lot of crafting for my large dolls house and therefore have the furniture finishing products.To finish the stool, I will sand well - it really needs it because it is quite rough in parts. Also, there is about a 4mm hole in the top surface that will have to be filled. Then use two coats of sanding sealer, sanding between coats. Finally polish it with a few coats of specialist clear furniture finishing wax. I have tried a coat of the sanding sealer on the inside part, to check the finished colour the wood will turn into. It seems to be a rusty brown colour, which I think will end up looking a light conker brown after full treatment. It will bring out the lovely grain of the natural wood.The current price of £79.65 is very expensive for what you are getting, in my opinion.

I thought this item would be solid wood but confused as to what exactly it is made of. Tried to beeswax it and that was a big mistake as it left big blobs and stains. Managed to clean it with soap and water. However, it looks good and handy for my wine glass 😉

The media could not be loaded. This came exactly as expected. It's finished to be really smooth and has lots of beautiful patterning from the trees rings. It's a good weight. It's hollowrd out up the centre which reduces some of the weight which avoids it being too heavy to be manoeuvrable but it still has enough bulk to be a stable seat or side table. Although it looks amazing as part of an arrangement of plants.

Its a beautiful, value for money table. However when it reached me the colour of the wood was a bit more like cinemonnamd also looked dry. I polished it to give it some more texture and now it looks somewhat similar to the image on this product page

This wooden stool is made from a whole section of tree and is 100% solid wood, although i couldn't tell you which wood it is made from. It has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy and awkward to move. The grain is lovely and gives the stool an attractive appearance and finish.The stool sits sturdy and is smooth to the touch on the top and all over, no sharp edges to be found. There is a hole in the bottom which i'm assuming helps with lightening the weight, as it would be heavy as a solid block. The measurements are as follows: 28cm x 28cm x 39.5cm which is an ideal height to use as a side table.It's a versatile piece of furniture in that it can be used in multiple rooms in the home, use it to display plants, a vase of flowers, or use it as a side table or stool in the living room, bedroom or conservatory. It's a well made and lovely looking piece of furniture which has a rustic and relaxed feel. 5* stars from me.

The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful wooden piece. It is solid and heavy as a tree part would be. I love the natural, minimalistic look. It creates a cosy and calm atmosphere.It can be multifunctional as it can be used as a stool, as a side table or as a decorative piece.The wood seems untreated so I'm a bit worried it will stain if used as a side table but you can always sand it a bit and treated it yourself.Overall we really like it and we recommend it. We can't see any imperfections and no splinters.

It's lightweight,well-designed and looks attractive. Some people will not like it without polishing or varnishing it, but I like how it is very natural.It's small(In diameter) for my liking to use as a coffee table; you can modify it, and you can place reasonable size round glass on top of this stool which might work as a coffee table. The height is perfect for my liking; I use this to rest my leg and as a guest table.
