If you have an Instant Pot, you might have been wondering, why your oatmeal tastes like curry you cooked before, despite you washing the pot thoroughly. Well, so did I :) Until I learnt in one very helpful group for IP newbies, that's it's really the silicon ring that retains the smells (who would've thought??). I was advised to get extra ring and use them for different types of cooking (e.g. red- for spicy food, blue for baking/sweet, and white for neutral - e.g. boiling eggs). So here I am, getting extra tri-pack. I think this was one of the best investments (except for the IP itself). Just don't forget to wash and change rings in between your dishes :) These particular rings fit my 8 quart perfectly, and they seem to be pretty good quality, so I'm happy.

Fit great . Colors help me know one for baking one for steam cooking . Thickness is just right and-easy to pop on and off for cleaning . Price is right . Love them .

After reading the reviews on these silicon rings i thought for the price it was worth a try. I too had a small issue with the seal and with coming to pressure, BUT i figured it out. First, wash your ring in hot water to help soften it up, 2nd, check to make sure the ring is properly placed all the way around and 3rd, always give a little steam test before you cook anything to ensure a proper seal and check you release valve for debris. Once the ring was warm it worked perfectly! These are a great value and totally worth having a few on hand . I especially like the idea of using each color for different types of food. ie; savory, sweet, steamed,etc

Excellent quality. Different colors allow you to use it as color coded item for different uses (such as using it for meat dishes versus vegetable or rice items) so as not to cross contaminate the odors. Easy to clean but as other seals, the odor will stay for days... so again best to use this for similar odors and items. Will update in future regarding durability but seems good so far

This is the second or third batch I've bought by this manufacturer. This batch hisses around the seal and leaks liquid into the trough around the lid. The other seals I bought were fine that I know of. I slowly checked the ring for any defects and all I can find is very small wrinkle type bumps on the seal. I don't know if that's what's causing the hiss or not, but for fear of the thing letting go and blowing I'm going to buy from the original Manf. EDITED FOR UPDATE: 7/2/24 The company reached out on their own to offer a refund and to apologize for the defect in this batch.

I got these as a backup for my original Instant Pot seal. I used the red one twice without issue. Tonight, while trying to cook baked potatoes, I saw that there was lots of condensation on the lid and there was steam escaping from the left side. The pressure valve button was down until I moved it and then it popped up. Pressed the release button to release the pressure and some did release. I inspected the lid and ring and couldn’t find any issues, so I put the lid back on and started the Pressure Cook setting again. Within just a few minutes, steam was coming out again. I ended up putting the old seal back on and putting the red one in the trash. Not sure what’s going to happen with the blue and white ones. So disappointed.

This set is quality and amazing to use with the multiple colors! I can use one for savory and one for sweet. I made bone broth and it made my ring that came with the instapot stink. I did literally every trick there is get get the smell out but it never fully would. It made my Greek yogurt have a weird taste. Now having my red ring for just yogurt/desserts has been amazing. When I see the red I think “STOP! Are you cooking sweet or savory?” So I change it out before making dinner

Replaced it for my crock pot and it fits perfectly fine, mine was 8 quarts crockpot. comes in a pack of three works wonders!!!Amazing quality as well!!
