Love these. Had to buy a new tube cause I dog ate my last one. Literally. *Update 1/5/20* Still going through my original pack I bought nine months ago, I still give these a 5 star. Becoming more experienced with these, I can leave a better review. - Their white is very tricky, behaving differently than any of the other colors I’ve used. It separates very easily so in terms of stirring to get it mixed, it takes the most time out of all them. When mixing it within resin, it looks to separate once the stir stick with dye dips into the resin, but don’t worry. Just stir it in and it’ll work out fine. Personally with the white I’ve abandoned using the bottle that comes in this sample kit, and bought the larger dropper bottle from the main website. You still run into the same issues but shaking one of those is much easier than stirring one of these little guys. - The Orange I’ve never got to work out for me, I’ve run into the same problems with it as I have with their white but the color doesn’t seem to stay? Orange is a secondary color though, so honestly I probably make better oranges mixing my own yellow and red together. - The green is a cool green rather that a warm green (leans closer to blue than it does yellow), so if you need a bright green you’ll have to mix in a bit of yellow. The green is the stronger dye in this situation so it is very accepting of yellow dye, meaning you can use a little bit too much yellow on accident and it’ll still come out a very nice bright green. - Violet. I use the end of a toothpick to get the colors I need, because this stuff is super super concentrated. Violet seems to be the most concentrated of all the colors, because even with a touch of a toothpick that had grazed their violet dye, I get a rich dark amethyst violet. I’ve worked with these dyes for a long time now, and while you might see these comments I’ve made above as negatives, I still will give this product 5 stars. This is by far the best dyes I’ve tried - the tiny amount you have to use to get rich colors is nothing compared to the amount of dye you have to use from other products. When you use too much dye, it effects the curing process so this being super concentrated is a huge perk in my opinion. The name of the game is control. My only real negative opinion about these is that they will likely expire before you use it all, and if you use specific colors that can be a pain in the butt. But! Buying one of these from here, is cheaper than ordering the individual bottles from Smooth-On themselves - The shipping is $20+ and you have to spend at least $20 to make an online order.

A little goes a long way! I was able to match colors with a very small amount for smaller figures and projects.

Product works well. Color opacity depends on how much ya use. They really could include some applicators. Packaging was crap... someone at Amazon thought they should put the plastic cylinder containing the dyes in a padded envelope... like that would be sufficient. One jar was smashed. What a mess... at least it was the flesh tone dye.

I used the product to color different parts of a two part mold and it’s was very good as I only needed a touch to make it happen. I’m getting ready to color my castings as well. This product looks like it won’t ever finish 👍🏾
