Good stopping power and bite point work better than my carrera stock brake pads and easy to align I will add however it doesn’t come with the pins which is okay I just re used my old ones until I buy new brilliant brakes overall 👍

My brake pads (or break pads in this case) fell apart after 6 months of light to moderate use on roads. The front set wore OK, but were still worn out after 6 months, whist the rear set disintegrated, with the friction material delaminating from the steel backing and falling out of the caliper. This happened without warning and when I went to slow down, my lever hit my grip and nothing else happened. You get what you pay for but a few extra pounds is worth not putting yourself in danger.

Perfect so far. Quiet and good 'feel' not to 'grabby'. Amazing packaging! These Clarks pads arrived in the nicest, most protective package that I have ever seen brake pads packed in. They came in a jewel case, like CD's come in, and protected with a piece of foam. Every other pad that I have ever purchased came shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard, sometimes even distorting the spring. Not the case here, the packaging definitely did not distort the spring, it is not bent or messed up at all. I read another comment about these pads in which the spring was messed up, I did not have this issue. Perhaps the company changed their case or method of packing. The installation was very easy, and they broke in quickly. I am impressed with the 'feel' of these pads (on the rear of my hardtail) they do not lock up the back tire unless you want to. One finger can lock up the rear if you want, but it doesn't happy all the time like the stock pads, or like other low cost pads that I have used over the years. Most importantly to me, they do not squeal!!! I cannot speak about the longevity of the pads, as I only have a few rides on them. Very impressed, will buy these again.
