KEEN Men's Newport Sandal

Comfy and practical sandal, I'm not a sandal fan and this is my first pair.But I love em. They fit well and I find them not tight and easy to get on and off now they have given a bit. I've been wearing all summer,my new go to footwear. I have walked many miles in these, very comfy and showing no signs of wear. They don't pick many small stones up as you walk , probably due to the closed toe, this is best part, I don't like toes on display...arghhh. So after having worn for several months almost non stop, I'm happy to give a 5 star review.

Quality: Very sturdy, high quality, well made sandals. Comfortable to wear right from the start and for long periods at a time, these Keen Newport H2 sandals provide additional protection via the closed toe front whilst still being sufficiently 'airy' in design to let your feet breath in hot conditions. The materials used appear to be of high quality and waterproof so that you can walk through streams, puddles or into the shallows of the sea when at the beach, without water damaging these sandals. The sole is particularly sturdy, offering excellent support and protection in all the right places including heels, foot arches and toes for when walking long distances or across uneven terrain. I also found the under sole grips to be good in wet, slippery and uneven underfoot conditions. Style: Robust, built for purpose. Available in several colour options to suit a range of tastes. However, if you are looking for more flimsy, lightweight and delicate boutique style sandals to wear as a fashion statement, then these might not be for you. Comfort: Comfortably (pun intended) the best sandals I have ever owned. Sizing: I am invariably a size 9 (EU 43) for all types of footwear and so that is the size I bought in this instance, despite some of the observations posted on other reviews to buy them one shoe size bigger than normal, and they fitted me perfectly. Price / Value for money: I bought these sandals in June 2014 from Amazon for £53. If the current price online is anywhere up around their normal RRP of £80 and you aren't in any particular hurry to buy them, then simply pop these items into your 'Save for Later' list on Amazon and wait for the price to drop, which it will. However, if you can't wait for that bargain to appear, then even at full RRP these sandals are decent value for the high quality and comfort they offer. Overall: These Keen NEWPORT H2 sandals are a genuine five start product that have prompted me to write this review, the first of any kind I have ever felt inclined to write in relation to a product I have purchased online. Whether for holidaying abroad in hot, sunny conditions, or for walking the beaches and coastal paths of the UK, or even for use on more testing terrain, I would highly recommend these sandals as an excellent choice for almost anyone.

I've had a pair of these for about ten years and the the sole is starting to detach, so have bought a new pair, couldn't really understand why they were quite a bit cheaper on the Keen site on Amazon than going directly to Keen - anyhoo for my misshapen feet these are a real bonus, I recently wore them for two weeks solidly, not to bed tho, on holiday in Borneo, walking and going out in the evening and on the flights and didn't have one single issue, no squashed toes or blisters .. nothing!, on previously holidays to Europe I've worn them walking on dusty / rocky trails again with no issues , I just wish I could wear them in the winter as well , maybe I'll try them with sealskins... that'll look nice .....

These sandals should be 5 star, but for my mistake. As with all KEEN footware, the Newport is an example of great design and superb manufacturing quality. But, as I have found to my cost over the years, my feet let me down. The size is correct, but I have a high instep and broad feet, hence getting these sandals on and off is a nightmare. Once on, the very tight elastic bit into my feet and left my little toe biltered and beleeding. If you possess 'normal' proportined feet I'm sure this won't be a problem, as for me these great shoes will remain on the shelf. My fautl, my loss.

Fits actual size

I've been looking at these for a few weeks and have finally bought a pair,they have not disappointed I love them. It's always hard finding decent footwear in a size uk13 but keen have managed it,they are very comfortable, stylish and rugged. Worn straight out of the box with bare feet with no rubbing,I will be wearing these all summer.

This is the fourth pair I’ve owned. Not the prettiest of footwear but tough as they come and are proper walking sandals. They are grippy, and comfortable too. The toe box is excellent, especially on rocky walks. (I’ve broken all my toes except the big ones a few times so this is a good feature for me) 😀. I like the lacing method. Very secure. They are not sweaty (but neither are my feet) They don’t collect many stones. I’ve machine washed them. Sprayed hydrogen peroxide in them to freshen them up - etc. Pretty much survived most things. The only issue I ever had was getting off the plane in NZ someone stood on the back of the shoe and the back right hand strap tore out of the sole. I used gaffer tape to repair them and they lasted the whole 6 weeks. Great walking sandals. Love them.

三足目購入 革のブラック 二足目は 革のバイソン(ブラウン) 五年経過して多少下手ってきた？ので追加しました。サイズは二足目と同じ26,5 二足目の時に最初は少しフィットし過ぎ、キツメかなと思ってたけどどんどん馴染んで柔らかく、伸びるので問題なし。 久々に新品履くとゆったりサンダルではなく、いざとなれば登山でも問題なしのフィーリング。 二足目もコードを締めればしっかり感は健在です。 最初はナイロンタイプを選んだので歩き方が悪いのかくるぶしが擦れて破れた。そういう事あり私には革の方が良いみたい。 ニューポート二足目です。 会社の上履きに他社の安いニューポート似のヤツを購入するも、コストなりなので悪くはありませんが満足感がないというか。 足のサイズは実測25,2センチ、ワイズEE スタンスミス、カントリー、大概の靴は26,5を選択します ランニング用はピッタリフィット26センチ 注 最初はキツメ 用途、好み次第ですがフィッティングが難しいと思います 三年前に27センチを購入、最初は靴下を履いてピッタリでしたが伸びたのか今は少しゆったり目。素足でも紐を締めれば固定されるのでデカいとまでは行かないが遊びがある。カカトが１センチ以下で余る感じです。 今回は27と26,5センチを比較して26,5を購入。 27は素足でジャスト、包み込む様な感じ。26,5は最初は幅がちょっとキツメでしたが三日間で馴染み素足でピッタリ、吸い付く様なフィッティングで足の一部になった感じ。薄い靴下も大丈夫。 最初気持ちキツメでも馴染むと良くなるので、Oneサイズ大きめが良いのか悩ましい 試着状態なら27が最高だが馴染む事で印象がかわるかも ちなみに三年前と今年の27センチで比較すると今年のは少しサイズが短くなったような？

Keen her zaman kalitedir. Günümüzde firmalar deri kullanmaktan kaçıyorlar. Sağlam ve uzun ömürlü istiyorsanız tavsiyemdir. Keen ayakkabılarda 1 numara, sandaletler de ise yarım numara büyük alın. Markanın müdavimi olarak söylüyorum. Saygılarımla...
