Is this the white bottle with white cap version that you receive? i am specifically looking to buy one and not the newer version with purple cap.

No the picture shows the originally with the white cap and completely white bottle. What you receive is the Purple top cap and bottle. This is not the original that you are looking for as it is not what I was either. There is a difference. The purple cap has a pungent/ sharp scent where the other is a soft, powder feel. Completely disappointed as I once again have been deceived by marketing
