GRO-Sure 20100270 Perlite, 10 L

This Gro-Sure Perlite is excellent — light, clean, and easy to mix with compost. It really improves drainage and root growth, and my plants are thriving since I started using it. I keep coming back to it each time reporting is done. The 10 L bag goes a long way and is great value for the quality. Highly recommend for gardeners who want strong, healthy plants!

I bought this to mix in with compost and pot up a bunch of outdoor plants. The price was competitive and is often cheaper than garden centers when it's on sale. Maybe this is common for all perlite, this is the first time I've used it, but a lot of it will float to the surface when you water in your plant for the first time. In my opinion it looks really terrible and maybe this is my inexperience in using it. I've covered with a mulch to cover up the crazy amount of white bits that ended up on the surface and that seems to have helped. Next time I would probably save a bit of compost spare and unmixed to top up the pots a few inches with plain compost to avoid the issue I had this time.

Good quality product with very little dust meaning it easy to mix with other compost and noticeably improves drainage. Noticed it helps with growth rate when propagating cuttings. Decent amount/quantity and value for money. It’s an expensive product wherever you get it though.

Great product. I mix one third of this with one third orchid potting mix and one third house plant soil for the best combo for my plants. They are thriving this year and the soil mix doesn't hold too much water whilst allowing the plants root to flourish.
