Net Tex Ready to Use Total Mite Kill Liquid, 750 ml

When we realised our chickens had red mite I went looking for a solution and this was reccomended in a few blogs I read. It didn't disappoint. After deep cleaning the coop I covered it in this and did the same 3 days later to break the egg cycle. I haven't seen any sign of them since and our girls are happily laying again! I now use a light spray when I clean out the coop to ensure they don't come back.

This stuff is amazing for getting rid of red mites. Kills then almost instantly, you do have to air out the area for a couple hours after before letting chickens in . Wish Amazon sold the refill version. The spray itself is great on some bottles and rubbish on others.

Had an issue with bird mites and this was really good! Killed any new ones trying to come in! Quite a strong smell and leaves a pink residue!

Seemed to work brilliantly alongside medication prescribed by vet. Two pronged attack has dealt with a severe infestation.

This was easy to use and the instructions were clear. I left the chickens coop to dry for 2 hours as directed and it seems to have taken out the red mites, but I know it will be necessary to keep using this regularly to control mites long term.

It does work really well although I have a smaller coop (houses 4-6 chickens) and still used almost the full bottle on the house. The directions says to treat every 3 days for 9 days. I only ordered 1 to begin with and didn't order another to treat in time so the red mites are back. My next order will be for 3 bottles at once.

This is the answer to your mite problems. Having chickens for couple of years without any problems but ofcourse as a chicken keeper the might issue will sneak up on you at some point. I have tried many things including the DE but the mites just keep coming back. So as a last resort I thought i give spray a try and omg!! It does small lovely and does the job. The idea that you spray initially everywhere where the mites may hide and then use it as an upkeep. It has oily consistency and soaks into the wood nicely, making it unpleasant environment for the mites to be and ofcourse kills the ones that are there. Obviously don’t spray this on the chickens and ventilate well when doing it.
