Pro 25-13 mm Black Conical Wand

Great, heats up quickly. I have fine hair which falls just past my shoulders. The other reviews I read seemed to be from people with thick hair (so I wasn't sure if it would work as well on mine) and/or shoulder-length hair who said the larger size barrel was too big and their hair couldn't wrap around it enough times. My hair wraps round the larger barrel perfectly (no spare barrel space, but I'm not left with any hanging off the end either) and it gives me the large, Victoria's Secret-style curls I wanted. You can get tighter, more precise curls or loose if you want and they last really well into the next day (and even the day after that!). It's quick to use and doesn't give the tell-tale kinks of straighteners (which I usually use to curl) or normal curling tongs as there's no clamp! Very glad I bought the bigger barrel! Also a great price and the free heat-proof mat is good as there's no stand to raise the wand away from your surfaces. Like others, I don't use the gloves.

I really love this product. It curls my hair beautifully; I get perfect curls every time & soooo quickly! I LOVE my GHD's but these are way quicker at producing curls, although I wouldn't say the curls produced by these are necessarily 'better'. The curls look like ringlets when you first use it but after a few comb throughs they become beautiful mermaid-like waves! Heat proof matt and finger protecters are an added bonus (although the finger protectors aren't really necessary and actually more of a hindrance). Does take longer to heat up than my GHD's but only by about an extra minute, so still very fast. These get extremely hot too. There are LOADS of heat settings and I have it on one of the hotter settings which works great. Looks pretty too as it's PINK!!

I had been curling my hair using straighteners for a couple of years, but found the curls could be a bit hit and miss and sometimes I just couldn't get particular sections to curl right, which is why I was looking for something new. I have just below the shoulder length hair and on advice from a hairdresser decided to go for the larger barrel size. I was so excited when it arrived and used it straight away - and first time got a perfect head of curls. The wand is really easy to use (a LOT easier than curling with straightners)and because the wand narrows at the end you can use differnt parts of the wand for different sized curls. I have thick hair, and particularly appreciate the range of temperature settings - I do mine on about 17, but the settings go up to 20. All in all a really great product that I'd really recommend.

Finally a curling 'thing' that works!. The wand is easy to use, does what it is supposed to do ie creates a variety of diameter curls from loose wave to tight curls, without damaging your hair. The only down side is you have to be careful not to touch the heated part when winding the hair on. Finger gloves are provided to stop the heat transfer to your fingers but they are too much bother to put on every time. It has a clever cable ratchet that allows movement in 360 degrees. An excellent product and I am very happy with it.

Creates the perfect curl and will save you time and money. I was sceptical about buying this product as I've been a GHD addict for many years but I've been more than impressed with this wand. It creates long lasting curls and is even better than other leading curling tongs on the market. Heats up nearly as fast as GHD's and includes a heat mat to protect surfaces as it does get extremely hot. I'll be honest, I have suffered a few burnt finger tips from distractions of even a few seconds but I still don't think you need the gloves if you're careful. I have very long layered hair and it takes absolutely no time at all to curl in sections. The curls last all day even without additional product. It's easy to master the curls and my hair doesn't look like it's been overworked, it even looks better the following day as the curls loosen to create the wavy beach babe look. I bought this wand over a year ago and I've actually used it more than my GHD's. Highly recommend!

I was split between buying the Tresemme conical wand and the Babyliss Pro conical wand. After reading the reviews I opted to buy the Babyliss one and I have no regrets. It is absolutely amazing and gives the most amazing curls. It is very easy to use. The curler comes with a heat resistant mat and mittens, however I found the mittens to be of a hindrance, if u are careful u dont need them. I dont know whether the Tresemme ones are good, but the few reviews that I read were all good, I would definately recommend the Babyliss to anyone who is looking to buy some curlers!!!

I have only used this once at home just to play around with and test out. I had it on a low-ish heat but the curls came out really well and it was easy to use. I did use the (3 finger) gloves provided at first, but they were a quite fiddly as I couldnt really feel what i was doing so I took them off. And I even managed not to burn myself...this time. Compared to other curlers, they worked really well and were easy to use. Would def recomend them. First thing my boyfriend said when he got home: " Your hair looks amazing!!!" Enough said :)
