Come on a fantastic adventure to the moon and deep into space! This exciting book is full of amazing astronauts and super space vehicles. Discover a different vehicle on each page, from rockets and moon buggies, to robot rovers, satellites and more. With bright, bold illustrations and fun, rhyming text, this is perfect for sharing and reading aloud. Little ones will love spotting all the details on each page and joining in with the lively text; as rockets 'zoom' and satellites 'whizz!' From the creators of the bestselling Dig Dig Digging . Review: Great read for little ones - We read this book at a baby group and my son seemed to really love it so I bought it for him and he still enjoys it. Great images in and an easy read for his older siblings to read to him. Review: Wonderful descriptive language. - Bought this book for my 2 year grandson who loves phases he can join in 'reading'. He and his 4 year old brother have loved many other books by this author and this was no disappointment - another big hit. The descriptive language in all Margaret Mayo's books is wonderful and the rhyme lends itself to children remembering and joining in. By chance the book arrived when I was due to stay at my other daughter's home, before seeing my grandson. She is an Infant teacher and happened to be doing a Space week with her Year 1 class(6 year olds). She borrowed the book for a day and said her class gained so much from the story - so the book is extremely versatile for 2 - 6 years olds!

Great series of books
Grandson loves this series of rhyming verses - he prefers the digger one despite his deep love of space rockets and I have to agree that the digging one is better - better rhymes and more going on. But this one is good and makes a welcome change from Digging!!

Good illustrations
I bought this for my three and a half year old - not enough going on and not enough of a story for her. Brightly coloured and well illustrated for younger readers though.

Margaret Mayo is Tops with Kids!
I took my 3-year-old grandson to the library. He was more impressed with the computers than he was with the books on the shelves. So, I let him pick out several books on topics that he likes--robots and rockets--and ask the librarian to help him find them. Our library didn't have this one in house so we called for it from another library branch and I took it to him when it came in. That was our first time to read a Margaret Mayo book. From that experience, I started checking books out of the library and buying the ones he likes best. This is one of them. I have not met a Margaret Mayo book that I do not like. The stories and the illustrations are very engaging.

Great series
Not the best from the series for my 2 yo, as there is a bit of advanced vocabulary but I am sure it’s Gina be a hit with someone a bit older and more into rockets and its parts

Informative and appealing
So delighted with this cute book. As his dad is an engineer working with the space shuttle, I purchased this book to accompany a toy rocket set for my 2-yr old grandson. Great illustrations and explanations are a real plus to clarify the various figures in the rocket set. Tells what actually happens in space travel. Dad will have fun reading the appealing narrative.

3 year old grandson loves it
My 3 year old grandson is very into airplanes, robots and rockets. I purchased this book to go with an astronaut suit I bought him for Christmas. He isn't too keen to wear the suit yet, but he enjoys the book and wants it read to him a lot. It was a good choice.
