SHU UEMURA Eyelash Curler

I have been using these for years now, tried lots of other brands in between but the Shu uemura ones are the best so far. I have Asian eyelash that grows straight down and they are strong and hard to bend. This brand of curler can curl my Lashes in one or two clamps, saves so much time in the morning. In terms of if these ones on Amazon are real Shu uemura, I can say they work the same way, but do look slightly different than my old pair which I got from Harvey Nicole’s years ago when the brand was still in there. Maybe it is just the brand is doing them different now. You can see in the pictures on the left is my old one, right is the new one. The new one is more lightweight and the angle is just a tiny bit different, you can’t tell if the two are not put together side by side. And the package took a little while to arrive with Japanese written all over it. Packaging looks real to me, seems like it is from Japan. To be honest, I don’t actually mind if it is real or not, it works absolutely the same as my old pair and saves my life since it is so hard to find them in the UK now. Full stars from me! Will buy again!

glad to have received the real one… it’s a hit or miss buying on amazon these days. i have straight lashes and this does a great job curling them. it’s difficult to find lash curlers that fit my eye shape and its curvature is suited for east asian eyes (i imagine it fits most eyes shapes too though). i understand why this is a cult favourite!

I read a few negative comments stating that these curlers are fake and not like the real thing, I am a makeup Artist and have always used shu uemura eyelash curlers. I purchased these due to being able to receive the next day on prime as I had left my last pair on set and my space nk order was not going to arrive on time for my next job, On arrival the box looked a little cheap so instantly thought cheap copy but on examining the curlers I could neither see of feel any difference and done the job lovely, a couple of days later I receive my 2nd pair from space nk so took the opportunity to compare, firstly the packaging was exactly the same so I guess I never took much notice to the cheap looking packaging before😁 The curlers were identical I could not see or feel any difference at all! I will purchase and recommend these curlers to anyone especially being almost half the price with pp from Space.

I heard that these eyelash curlers were excellent;saw them on sale at a very good price so ordered them.Good-they are very well made.Not good and dissapointing-I can’t see any difference in the way they curl eyelashes than my cheaper ones.Very uncomfortable and difficult to actually get the curlers onto my lashes.Very surprised as they are supposed to be the best in the buisiness. I don’t recommend them.

Arrived quickly,it's boxed & looks genuine. It pinched the corner of my eyelids when I first tried but I have quite hooded (Oriental) eyes and get this with every curler I've ever tried. With these, if curl my top lashes in 2 sections pushing my eyelid in a bit, there's no pinching. (this isn't as awkward as it sounds & because of my hooded lids, I'd always have to curl in more than one go) I was originally after S curlers which were unavailable. They are mini lash curlers also by Shu Uemura - I'll still get those to see what different they make but happy to use these larger ones in the meantime. The spare rubber pad is handy but after many cleans/washes, the original pads still look brand new so I don't think I'll be needing to replace them for a good while. These are by far the easiest lash curlers I've used, with Shiseido next. They're solid & well made, so I imagine they'll last a lifetime!

The best one I ever had and so worth the price. If you never owned one this one would be easy to learn, you have to practice couple times to get used to it. Believe me I had couple from the major drug stores and they pale in comparison. I know it is tempting to buy those drug store unbranded ones as they are cheap, but if you like pinching your eyelids than that is that. This product with little practice is easy to use and gives amazing results and I highly recommend it.

A Brilliant eyelash curler, if you're looking at buying these then you probably already know that these are the best around . What I would like to say in this review is please do not be put off by other reviews saying that these are FAKE - they are not,,they are 100% genuine, I hesitated to buy these for my niece because of the negative rewiews but decided to go for it and if I was unhappy then I would have returned. I myself have a pair of these curlers which I bought from the Shu Uemura shop in Covent Garden many years ago, I have compared, I have read " how to spot a fake curler " and I can tell you these are the real deal, buy with confidence.

Bought this after reading positive reviews on Amazon and other websites, but I found this to be the worst eyelash curler I have used. It does not fit the eyelid at a good angle and digs into the side of my eyelid. It only picks up half my eyelashes at a time, leaving the other half bent! I regret spending the money I did on this curler and will stick to my usual, un-branded curler in the future.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler is one of the best eyelash curlers I had and it ROCKS! It curls all my lashes without pinching and is shaped to fit my Asian almond shape eyes. I also received the delivery promptly and on time. Highly recommend!

Be me: you've owned a drugstore concealer for years and though curling your eye lashes was a waste of time because the curl was basically nonexistent and didn't last. Then one day, you come across an article that lists top makeup tools that are worth the splurge. You read that this curler is the best curler out there. So you decide to check out your favorite online shopping website to see how much this "splurge" will set you back. To your surprise, the cost is 12 bucks and has free Prime shipping. Boom! Into the shopping cart it goes. Two days later, a little box arrives with your new toy: your brand new curler. You open the box, take it out of its packaging, grab a compact mirror you had hanging around you, and curl your lashes. BAM! It happens: you curl your lashes and there's an actual curl! It's not like your eye lashes have been pushed up - no, there is an actual curl and your eyes like so open and awake. This curler got right up to the base of your eyelashes and created the most perfect curl without pinching your precious eyelid. You think to yourself "This is amazing, but the curl will fall as soon as I put some mascara on." You grab some mascara and ... what? ... you still have a curl? And it lasted a couple of hours? This can't be real. Oh, but it is. This is the true story of how my first day went with this amazing curler. I am so happy with it that I actually curl my lashes every day now. The curl doesn't last the entire workday (10 hours - work in a school) but it lasts way longer than it ever has before. My advice: try this! You'll love it!
