What is the weight of this toy?

The John Deere Digger weighs 11 lbs.

How do you get the silver caps on the rods for the wheels, I tried hammering them on but won’t go on?

Hello and thank you for your question! The manual does go into detail on using a round black mold to set over the silver piece, and then hit it with a hammer. Make sure the axel is stabilized on the other side. Patrick B.

Can this be left outside?

Yes, Bought it for a gift for my grandson and it was outside all the time until he outgrew it
