Yale Wi-Fi Smart Module for Yale Assure Digital Electronic Locks or Levers

This item works great hook it up to my regular Yale front door and it works just like it's supposed to I can open the door anywhere to let anybody into the house that needs to get into it feel very secure and it was very compatible to my mail locking system

Works perfect- it is a struggle to get it linked - but worth the effort.

Working as described

A waste of money! Sucked all the battery power of my Yale lock! It was a great idea. It installed easily and connected quickly. Then it lasted 2 days before the newly installed batteries were drained. Of course, it could have been the batteries. So I exchanged them and the same thing happened. Afraid I’d be locked out - I removed the smart module. Waste of money.

We have the Yale Door Lock installed on a rental home. We needed to assign different access to guests and this little gadget was the ticket. The WiFi adaptor was easy to install but the sensor was a bit of a mystery since the instructions were very vague and did not include any data about the sensor or how to install it. A quick YouTube search and “Phil” provided superb installation guidance. This adaptor allows mobile lock and unlock access. Convenient when needed if you forgot to lock the door. Features an auto lock with a timer you can set at 1m +. Also features your phones ability to unlock once you reach a certain distance from the door. We won’t use this feature since it is a rental home. A good and smart purchase with a good price point.

Swapped out the module that came in it when I bought Amazon key. Amazon proceeded to screw us all and leave us with non functioning locks - but now I can open door again remotely and easily The Yale app kinda sucks but it works (the photo of your “address” is a long rectangle not high so you can’t photo a door or house. Stupid as if they think you will have 8 lines of locks A should be a nice square thumbnail in a grid

I didn't actually get to use this product as the Yale assure lock 2 I purchased at Lowe's did not work. I couldn't get it to pair with my Bluetooth and it also didn't do anything once I got the wireless. But Amazon did a good job of getting the device to me quickly and is making my return taken care of easily.

This product will. It work outside the US and Yale are unable to help.

Better than I thought . We were away for two months , Andre CD feed all notifications of door opening and closing. The battery is still good , and it tells me of battery life remaining.

Bastante fácil de instalar, pero conectarse a Wifi fue un problema. El mensaje seguía diciendo que iussuer estaba de mi parte, pero ese no era el caso. Las opciones de Ayuda no son de ninguna ayuda (le envían la espiral descendente habitual de dónde quieren que vaya en lugar de la información que realmente necesito. Parece estar funcionando bien, aunque creo que me estoy perdiendo algunos de los beneficios que pueden ser útil.

We have four first-generation Assure locks, and have tried a variety of smart modules with them including Z-Wave, Homekit, the August Connect kit, and these. These are easily the most reliable of the group; they never drop from the network, and have worked flawlessly for us. Reasonably simple setup (just don't forget to factory reset your lock before you install), the August Home Assistant integration works well. Only downside is they go through batteries considerably faster (understandably), and need a 2.4Ghz network (which is fine, and reduces power consumption as well). Super happy with them, and a little sad they weren't available from the get go.
