Yale Wi-Fi Smart Module for Yale Assure Digital Electronic Locks or Levers

This item works great hook it up to my regular Yale front door and it works just like it's supposed to I can open the door anywhere to let anybody into the house that needs to get into it feel very secure and it was very compatible to my mail locking system

Great product! The instal was very simple. Turns my Bluetooth lock into a WiFi lock. We use this for our short term rental and it connects directly to Air&B. Pretty nice feature.

A waste of money! Sucked all the battery power of my Yale lock! It was a great idea. It installed easily and connected quickly. Then it lasted 2 days before the newly installed batteries were drained. Of course, it could have been the batteries. So I exchanged them and the same thing happened. Afraid I’d be locked out - I removed the smart module. Waste of money.

So I got this to add to a Yale lock I had already. I wanted HomeKit integration. As many others have noted, it was chewing through batteries. It was also flakey on HomeKit integration. The Yale app worked flawless, but I want all smart home stuff to got through Apple Home. So I waited until the Amazon return window was close and finally called customer support. We did a hard reset, a software reset and deleted from Home. They told me to not use rechargeable batteries. They said the way rechargeable's power was given the batteries would drain fast. I don't remember all the details, as I thought it was BS but I did go but some alkaline batteries. Things were getting close as I had home working but could not get calibration to work. They had me drill out the deadbolt but still error messages. They then wanted a video so someone could help trouble shoot. At this point, I said send me the request, but I was likely to return. I got off the phone and decided to do one more hard and software reset. This time everything worked! I took a risk to not return hoping it was all fixed. Before, I was getting low battery messages in one day. It has been 4 days and no low battery. The software integration with Home is not perfect. Yale did a great job attempting to resolve this.

Works great with my Yale Allure 2 and other Yale smart locks.

Swapped out the module that came in it when I bought Amazon key. Amazon proceeded to screw us all and leave us with non functioning locks - but now I can open door again remotely and easily The Yale app kinda sucks but it works (the photo of your “address” is a long rectangle not high so you can’t photo a door or house. Stupid as if they think you will have 8 lines of locks A should be a nice square thumbnail in a grid

Great purchase, and a great add on to my keyless lock. Very easy to install, and add to the Yale app. Gives the assurance the your door has been securely locked.

This product will. It work outside the US and Yale are unable to help.

Better than I thought . We were away for two months , Andre CD feed all notifications of door opening and closing. The battery is still good , and it tells me of battery life remaining.

Bastante fácil de instalar, pero conectarse a Wifi fue un problema. El mensaje seguía diciendo que iussuer estaba de mi parte, pero ese no era el caso. Las opciones de Ayuda no son de ninguna ayuda (le envían la espiral descendente habitual de dónde quieren que vaya en lugar de la información que realmente necesito. Parece estar funcionando bien, aunque creo que me estoy perdiendo algunos de los beneficios que pueden ser útil.

We have four first-generation Assure locks, and have tried a variety of smart modules with them including Z-Wave, Homekit, the August Connect kit, and these. These are easily the most reliable of the group; they never drop from the network, and have worked flawlessly for us. Reasonably simple setup (just don't forget to factory reset your lock before you install), the August Home Assistant integration works well. Only downside is they go through batteries considerably faster (understandably), and need a 2.4Ghz network (which is fine, and reduces power consumption as well). Super happy with them, and a little sad they weren't available from the get go.
