Miley Cyrus does an impressive acting job in LOL , a film that requires her character, Lola, to be online on her computer or phone for much of the plot. Movies about the Internet can be tricky, because there's so little action visible onscreen. But in LOL Cyrus's emotions--about texting and social-media relationships and friendships with fellow high schoolers--are front and center, and well acted. LOL is based on director Lisa Azuelos's original 2008 French film of the same name, and starring Sophie Marceau. The American remake is not as sparkling as the original, but LOL is at its best as a moving coming-of-age story in the digital era. Demi Moore plays Lola's mom, Anne, who believes she and her daughter are close and know each other intimately. But a chance peek at Lola's online confessions lets Anne know her daughter could be putting herself in danger. Meanwhile, Cyrus's Lola is a girl who just wants to be loved. The chemistry between Moore and Cyrus is also quite palpable and touching. The audience for LOL fans will include tweens, teens, parents, and those of us who love watching Lifetime Movie Network. It is amazing to see how Lola (Miley Cyrus) and her mother Anne (Demi Moore) think they both live in different worlds while they actually not only have pretty similar personalities but also struggle with pretty much the same issues in live. It's not only that teens will be able to relate to Lola but mothers will probably relate to Anne too. And so seeing this movie kinda let both mothers and daughters see the other one's site & thereby might even help them to better understand each other. I saw this 4 times at the movies and loved it more and more with every time I watched it. I just pre-ordered the BluRay and I can't wait for it to come out & arrive so that I can watch it over and over again <3 It's seriously one of the best movies I've ever seen and I'm not only saying this because I like Miley but because it just has everything a great movie needs: a great storyline & message, an excellent cast, it's really funny (yeah I'm positive you'll actually LOL while watching it) and totally romantic If you didn't catch this at the movies make sure to buy it to watch it at home and if you already saw it in theater well then you know why I loved it so much! Great movie
Love the relationship Demi shows to all her children in this movie. But to be so open with her daughter we should all learn from it.

One of my favorite movies
I love love love this movie. Buying it from this seller was great they have fast shipping. My first dvd was damaged and the seller sent my replacement immediately but my 2nd dvd got lost in transit but I would definitely still recommend this seller.

Most flawless movie ever asdfghjkl <3333
I pre-ordered this movie in June and i'm expecting it tomorrow! I watched LOL online and as a huge smiler i was really impressed! Miley did so well in the movie and I enjoyed Demi Moore, Douglas booth, and Jean-Luc Bildeau as well! My mom is 50 and she looved LOL! You don't have to be a Miley fan to enjoy this movie! You may not expect much since it bombed in the box offices but that is only because it was not promoted at all and only shown in several states! I promise you will enjoy LOL it is funny, romantic, sad, happy and it will make you feel good! It shows teenage relationships, friendships, marriage, and mother-daughter relationships! I highly recommend you buy this movie you definitely won't be disappointed-especially with Amazon's low prices and super quick shipping!

we did not even know this movie had been released. Apparently it was "canned" by the media, and the reason it was probably down graded, was that there was no violence or guns involved, just a family film. well this is a great movie, and in my view NOT for young teens. there is a lot of adult concepts. Demi moore is terrific and the movie is very entertaining. If you are a miley cyrus fan you need to get this movie too. the only disappointment is that miley does not sing. also our copy was faulty which meant for half the movie we missed it. but we got to see the end.

Un film très agréable
Parfaitement reçu en temps et en heure. Adaptation américanisée de LOL avec Demi Moore. Aussi drôle et amusant que la version (originale) française avec Sophie Marceau. Des clichés un peu plus marqués à mon goût mais ça reste un très bon moment.

Miley Cyrus, I am a fan. But what she did now to herself... Looks like she completely lost it. I think this is a great film! I enjoyed how the couple were so closed as friends and deep down they loved each other but hides it. All the other charators were funny. Specially the blonde one. This film I lent to watch my friend, but as soon as the film started she was confused what was going on. I enjoyed it was a mystery and wondering what's going on but I really enjoyed and can watch it again and again. Best part! How daughter and mother bonds.
