OverBoard Classic Waterproof Backpack | 30 Litre Floating Pack | 100% Waterproof Dry Bag with Top Fold Seal System (Black)

Love it. Opened flat measures 50cm x 70cm. Closed drops to about 55cm. Depth is about 15cm but it bulges more if you need to without any problem. It is more spacious than I thought, which is great, it has a single big compartment inside, material is all rubber, completely waterproof (some parts have an extra nylon layer for nice looks). Convenient side pocket for a bottle, and 3 hooks on the front to hang more stuff. Also comes with a carabine and a metal ring (useful to hang your keys on one of the hooks). I can easily fit two kayak seats for the Sevylor SK100 DS (with some room left for food), or two drop-stitch floors for Sevylor SK100 DS plus a big hand pump 2800 cm^3 ... I'll probably buy another one so both me and my wife can carry all the bits for our two SK100 DS (drop-stick floors, pump, seats, etc), except paddles and main kayak body. Previously we were hassling strapping all that on the bikes with bungee cords. The shoulder straps are wide and padded but could have had a little more padding (I'm a little skinny), though I'm not bothered since our main usage would be to carry the kayak bits to the river while cycling.

I bought this for keeping my kit dry for wet day sea swims. It’s perfect for my needs, I can fit everything I need into the roomy bag, and the side mesh pocket it perfect for my post swim warm drink flask. The bag is well made, very waterproof and comfortable to wear in my walk to and from swims. I’m glad I made this purchase, so would recommend to others 😃

Have bought second backpack like this,previous one was idestructable,but second one fail after second flight. (Decided to by second bag as previous fell of the motorbike on high speed and had slights damages due to wich lost water inegrity). Seems that the quality has fallen as the sholder straps started to fall apart after 2 days of it being used. Was not carrying lots of weight as my travel concept is travel light,max of 8kg.

Very good waterproof backpack. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is two-fold: 1. Although the pictures are accurate, the details described are plain wrong: 2 way closure system (top or side) - had me thinking there was a side zip or something. There is only 1 way to open and close this backpack: roll it up from the top. Elasticated front webbing - nope, not there. Adjustable sternum strap and waist belt - nope, there is no waist belt. 2 x outer Elasticated side pockets and a top carry handle - nope, there is only 1 side pocket. 1 x large internal zip pocket - nope, completely absent. 2. This backpack is clearly designed for men. That is fine, but would have been useful to have been mentioned. The adjustable sternum strap is too low down so that in its highest possible setting, it will still sit uncomfortably on boobs. Its lowest setting would be directly under the boobs - which is quite obviously not ideal either... If it could have simply been allowed to go further upwards, it would have been fine. Again, all fine - if mentioned - a picture of someone wearing it would be helpful (also to judge its actual size). I have resolved to not closing the strap as I only use it for my 15-min cycle commute. Otherwise, very good: spacious (lunch, entire hand bag and waterproofs go in easily), but not too large, looks waterproof and durable (not had it for long enough to attest to this), and is reflective. Hence still 4 stars.

I recently switched to this backpack after using a North face Surge backpack that I bought in August 2016. That bag was fine for dry days but when it rained it did let in water which was a poor design for a laptop back. So after a colleague recommended an Overboard bag I decided to give it a go. I travel daily by train which means I spend a lot of time walking too and from train stations. The rain seems to be getting heavier and heavier these days so I needed a bag that would put up with the harsh weather. The bag I was using previously was a 30L but I was amazed at just how much more space I have in this bag, Its like Mary Poppins bag. I have been able to merge my two bags down to this one bag (Gym duffle and laptop backpack) and I still have room. There are no compartments inside this bag its literally just a sack so if you have anything you want to keep handy its probably worth buying a little neoprene case for them, for example keys. You can buy an Overboard laptop insert for about £15 but I am just using an AmazonBasics neoprene laptop sleeve for £8. An example of what I am able to carry in this bag: 1x pair of running trainers 1x large microfibre towel 1x pair of shorts 1x T-Shirt 1x pair of socks & boxers 1x MacBook Air 13" in neoprene sleeve 1x laptop charger 1x large sports bottle 1x large lunch box 1x small case that holds keys, wallet, usb keys etc 1x Coat ....There is still room in the bag! Reluctantly I did drop my bag into a bath full of water to test it and it did keep everything dry.

The overall waterproofing is of good quality, however, the inner part of the backpack in question in void of any pockets, or compartments making an absolute nightmare to get anything out. Firstly, taking gear, especially costly equipment, in an pile can cause damage to said items and secondly it is very frustrating to have to rummage inside the pack to find what you are looking for. Whereas the product may be fit for water sports, it is not fit for purpose for storing items in a tidy and safe fashion. Sorry guys, in today's epoch of production and design, you have fallen far short of my expectations hence the 1 star review. You could do more with incorporating pockets, chambers and other within the deign itself, rather than having to have to purchase, in other words, up-selling, a fit in, Velcro pocket which is, among other things, of extremely poor quality. Devil is in the details they say.

Ich habe mir diesen Rucksack für eine mehrtägige Radtour gekauft, damit meine Sachen trocken bleiben, falls ich mal in einen Regen komme. Dann hatte ich gleich am ersten Tag 220km lang durchgehend strömenden Regen. In den Rucksack kam nicht ein einziger Tropfen rein. Auch der ganze Dreck, der von der Straße raufgespritzt ist, ließ sich abspülen bzw. mit einem Tuch einfach abwischen. Das ist wirklich top! Nun habe ich ihn auch zum wandern getragen, auch wenn das nicht gerade der ideale Rucksack für sowas ist, aber es hat promt wieder geregnet und ich war froh, dass ich den genommen hatte. Um Handys etc. braucht man sich dann keine Sorgen mehr machen. Der Rucksack ist halt wirklich nur ein Schlauch ohne Trennfächer, also wenn Kleidung, Elektronik und kantige oder kratzende Gegenstände zusammen rein sollen, empfiehlt sich irgendein Trennsystem. Die Innenmaße der 30 Liter Version sind etwa 14x30 cm am Boden und bis auf eine Höhe von 40-45cm kann man ihn gut vollpacken und er lässt sich noch locker die empfohlenen 3 Mal einrollen und zusammenklippen oben. Auf der Radtour hatte ich Kleidung für 3 Tage, Verpflegung, Schläuche + Pumpe, Regenjacke und viel mehr mit und er war nicht annähernd voll. In die 30l Variante geht auch locker 19'' Laptop und so rein aber da würde ich ein Sleeve oder anderen Schutz emfehlen, auch für Tablet und dergleichen.

Muy buena mochila impermeable, yo empecé buscando en internet el top 10 de las mejores mochilas y esta está dentro de ese top. Vale mucho la pena el precio por la mochila, el material es de muy buena calidad las correas son muy cómodas, soporta bastante peso, es 100% impermeable, realmente tengo una semana con ella y ya la he usado mucho y no me ha dejado para nada mal. Yo compré la de 30 litros y es bastante bueno el espacio para poder guardar cosas. Está es una versión de mochila que no tiene bolsa adentro ni tampoco afuera , solo tiene un porta ánfora en un lateral y unos anillos en D para colgar cosas pero no confiaría ponerle mucho peso a esos anillos. Hay una versión que por bastante más dinero tiene para colocar dos ánforas , un cierre exterior y unos cordones para sujetar cosas . Realmente esa mochila se ve mucho mejor y estará más práctica para transportar cosas a fuera de la mochila , pero la diferencia es de alrededor de mil pesos (mx). Siendo sincero , sí hay la posibilidad de gastarse 1500 pesos por esta mochila o poco más de 2500 pesos por el otro modelo, hágalo vale mucho la pena estas mochilas. En mi caso esta mochila está perfecta ya que si necesito llevar más agua conmigo , bien puedo ponerla adentro , ya que sí tiene bastante espacio. Les dejo un video donde pongo a prueba la mochila en un rio . El reflejante de la mochila es muy bueno, las costuras también , las correas traen anillos donde puedes colgar más cosas, todas las correas son ajustables . Al comienzo sentirá duro cerrar la mochila, pero con el uso ya se siente más suave el cerrarla .

Buena compra. La uso para hacer barrancos con equipo fotografico. Nunca me a entrado agua. La lona es resistente. De comodidad no esta mal

Ich habe nun den Rucksack mehr als zwei monate gesetet und kann nur sagen, dass ich vollkommen zufrieden. Bin mehrmals im regen mut dem fahhrad damit gefahren und er hält dicht. Sehr geräumig und bequem zu tragen. Benutze ihn täglich.

Anfänglich war mir der Verschluss suspekt, aber nach längerem Gebrauch hält er tatsächlich dicht! Der Rucksack trägt sich bequem, ist stabil und hält den Inhalt trocken. Schön ist auch die Stauraum-Reserve, denn ist einmal mehr zu laden, bleibt der Rucksack einfach offen und trotzdem stabil. Auch auf dem Motorrad trägt er sich gut. Skeptisch war ich insbesondere wegen des Materials, denn es wird beim Verschließen sehr stark auf Biegung beansprucht. Die Befürchtung, die Beschichtung könnte sich an diesen Stellen ablösen und damit seine Wasserdichtigkeit verlieren, hat sich bis heute als unbegründet erwiesen. Ich bin zufrieden.
