YONEX Voltric 7 Badminton Racket

Really impressed with Yonex Voltric 7. I prefer it as a doubles racket as its a 4U (around 83 grams) Let me start with the Cons and then I will continues with the Pros Cons: 1) The factory stings (BG3) are really bad. Restring it with a a better string ASAP 2) May not suit everyone's style for Singles game. I prefer slightly heavier racket or a more head heavy one with the same weight for singles. 3) It took a long time to get a good short drop. most probably due to the lack of weight.. Pros: 1) Good repulsion for long clearance, hence minimal effort 2) Very easy to maneuver. Really to push the shuttle to the back corners. 3) Very easy to do the controlled smashes and net drop from the back of the court. 4) I felt no vibrations while hitting the shuttle. much better than my previous racket. 5) Its a slightly head heavy racket with ~8gm weight (4U). Hence its really easy to play wristy flicks Note: I restrung my racket with Ashaway ZyMax 67 at 24lbs . The string along with the tension could also be a factor for the above Pros & Cons

My first proper racket ( well 2nd but the first was a cheapo one to get me started). I do like this Racket but moving from begiinner rackets to intermediate is difficlut. The string tension on this is alot tighter so you have to hit with more power to get any more power. i found the grip too narrow but I like to use extra grips to widen the grip anyway to help ease my tennis elbow. Would I buy again- Probably but I want to try a racket with a slightly heavier head so that I can generate more power

Wow what a racket! I did class myself as a beginner playing with a head heavy Browning racket. But after a couple of games with this Voltric 7 with a head heavy, high flex and super light frame, me and my friends immediately noticed the difference in returns, placement, distance, power and precision in my play. I feel like a pro now! (Although realistically probably intermediate). This racket has increased my play by 100% and I feel totally in control. Seller also delivered in 3 days which was super fast and in time for my next session. After this my only upgrade would be for the more expensive pro rackets. Superb... simply superb. Worth every penny. I bought it for £57 and in my honest opinion it should be at least £80 - £100.

As a regular player for many years, I have always used lightweight framed rackets and as an attacking style player I can get powerful shots, but I chose this head heavy Voltric 7 coupled with a lightweight frame as opposed to the heavier Voltric 5 racket, and this has given me even more power to my game whilst keeping great stability of the shuttle at the same time. I would recommend this style of racket to the intermediate player. It would appear a good quality racket at this price.

My very first badminton racquet and a very suitable one for me. I started badminton just over 5 months ago and have been practicing very often (3 hours a day, 4-5 days a week). I had refrained from indulging into better quality racquets until I had reached a certain standard, and therefore was playing with heavy club racquets. With my game improving quickly came the time to buy a proper racquet. I read several reviews about the suitability of racquets for me as a beginner as there are many different makes and models in the market. Based on the budget of £50, I focused on the performance aspects of the racquets and how it would improve my play. Based on everything I came across, I narrowed the search down to Voltric range, and at the end, in between the V5 and V7. I have read that there isn't much difference in between the two. But somehow, I like the feel and quickness of V7, which one of my colleagues had. I'm glad I bought this racquet. In combination with the badminton shoes (until this I was playing in running shoes), my game has improved so significantly that I have been left astounded. Before, I struggled to generate enough power from awkward angles to clear the shots but now it happens all the time. The defensive shots also don't need as much effort, the birdies seem to bounce off much easily. I am simply amazed. Long may this continue!

I've been playing regularly for 20 years and I was never all that impressed with this racquet. I thought it lacked both power and control. Now after only 4 months it snapped during a game, while I playing a really weak backhand no less. It's now out of time to return it so that's £60 down the drain.

Racket frame broke with in 2 months. Product quality is completely questionable. Won't recommend.

This racquet is such a beast! I took up badminton after a long break, and my love for the sport was rekindled. After a few weeks I had to get myself a decent racquet and was looking at all price ranges. I didn't think a professional one was warranted (yet!) and so this seemed just the ticket. It is incredibly light, and the power in my shots took some getting used to.......I would whack the shuttle and it would go out of court owing to the power I wasn't used to. I've acclimatised now, and I love my little lightweight beast....I look forward to playing with it and it never disappoints.

This is a very solid racket for general players at all levels. Best for beginning to advanced intermediate. Very light. The seller Menzel Sports I got it from did not supply a case, though the listing includes a picture of one.

No recommended. Very much disappointed with the maximum allowed tension =24 lbs. I would prefer to buy Voltric 7 dg which has the maximum allowed tension 35 lbs.

Sehr guter, kopflastiger Schläger. Clears und Drops vom hinteren Spielfeld sind ohne großen Aufwand möglich genauso wie gefühlvolles Spiel am Netz. Spiele 2-3x pro Woche. Alles in allem ein Top Schläger zu gutem Preis, in gewohnter Yonex Qualität.

Racket is good..No doubt about it! But it is not really in light weight category. I am a professional badminton player and is playing for more than 25 years now. So this racket does not give me feeling of low weight. But definitely good control during net play, dribbles and good power while smashing! Not a bad deal at cost 3500/-. Was happy with the Amazon service and systematic packaging. Actually I was looking for Victor Meteor Mx60 and it was out of stock. If you really need light weight racket, go for Victor Meteor Mx60. Wonderful racket!

Super raquette qui donne du power !! Et tout en gardant un très bon contrôle sur les amortis ! Je recommande vraiment !
