Before they can learn to write, little children need lots of practice with pen control, and this book provides plenty of opportunities for that, as they can complete the various activities again and again, using the special wipe-clean pen provided. Includes mazes, dot-to-dot, things to draw and more. Review: Great item - Bought for my 2yo who was showing signs of being ready to start writing. She LOVES this book and is really getting the hang of following the lines. On occasion she does “colour in” with the pen which means that it’s running out quite quickly. But for helping with control and following lines it’s good. Her favourite images are the winter scene and under the sea. In just a short time she can now draw straight lines as well as zig zags and wiggly lines. Review: Fun and colourful book. - Good book for introducing little ones to using pens and developing their pen control. Pen that came with it works well and wipes off the pages easily enough. I found that using a baby wipe removes any stubborn bits of pen from the pages easily. Colourful and fun design - has a different scene on each double page spread which appeal to our three year old daughter. She enjoys using it and selecting the page that she wants to use.

Very good idea
Very good idea. My son is only 3 and it has helped him learn how to hold a pen and draw and write.

good practice
Excellent practice for little hands to develop pen control. I find it's useful to follow the dots with a finger, several times, before using the pen.

Wipe the marker right away or else a Blur stain remains
It’s really nice. It has shapes and very friendly pictures like balloons and other stuff that kids like. And the pen stain doesn’t wash off from clothes and sofas

Become a firm favourite
My granddaughter loves these, as she doesnt go to kindergarten so having a portion of the day set aside for her 'school' learning is important. Currently we are focussing on her pen holding and fine motor skills.- and she is getting better in leaps and bounds. Would recommend
