Does exactly what it needs to do, not that big but it’s big enough for what I wanted it for. I’ve used it for watercolour and it’s great. Great quality, not flimsy plastic, easy to clean.

Useful little palettes to use for tiny paintings or with a butchers tray.
I find these inexpensive little palettes really useful. I don't actually use them for mixing colours but use them for laying paint out. My studio mixing surface is a big, 18"x12", porcelain butchers tray which is a lovely mixing surface but has one drawback. Butchers trays are designed to channel moisture to the edge, which means that if you lay out your watercolour or gouache round the edges it will tend to dissolve and mix in an annoying and wasteful manner. Whereas if you put your colours in one of these at a corner, your colours remain unwetted. Also if you wish to change palletes these can be stored in a sealed food bag with a lump of damp synthetic sponge (real sponges quickly go sinister if left sealed and wet) until you wish to go back to it. This is great if you have more than one painting on the go, once as I often do, and experiment with different ranges of primaries within a limited palette. These palettes are pretty sturdy and have a nice curved edge that makes it easy to scoop paint out without damaging your brushes and I am sure that they could be useful for mixing if you are working on a very small scale.

Great for urban sketching
I bought this for use in travelling as I wanted something small, light and not deep to fit in hand luggage. Lots of troughs for mixing paint which will get a lot of use whilst I’m visiting locations.

La tavolozza è piccola ma comodissima per portarla in vacanza o in viaggio. Il fatto che sia in plastica la rende perfetta per il trasporto . Mi sa che ne prenderò un altra per avere più spazio per miscelare più colori. Pacco arrivato in perfette condizioni e puntuale. Grazie Amazon!!!!!
