An excellent aid if the sections are pointed out for the child but it can be a little difficult for a child to find what they are looking for. Impossible to get the balance right for every eventually though

CGP books really are great, I am a teacher having worked in Primary, F.E, Universities and now Secondary schools. I have a collection of these and use them daily in my interventions with struggling students and for students revising. The style is fact without fluff so you arent wading through page after page of useless information. Instead you get clear examples and explanations in a quick to learn format. i totally recommend the whole series. Believe me or not but I still use the KS2 books with KS3 and GCSE students to explain fundamentals they are struggling with

We are homeschooling our daughter this year (KS2 Year 6) and I have purchased most of the textbooks from CGP. Each Study Book has its own Targeted Question Book and I cannot stress enough how well written and illustrated they are as well as covering the entire curriculum! Saved my life!

It's great, got it for son age 7 who will be 8 in three months time. So good to be able to teach him our English curriculum homeschooled while residing in Ontario, as we shall be back for good at some point in the future. Best education too.
