Rolson 90005 3 pc 24 LED Lamp with Hook and Magnet

I have bought three of these over the years, not because they went wrong and needed replacing but because they are so useful that I like to keep one in the car, one near the consumer unit and one with my tools so there is always one handy. Very compact and bright enough for most jobs you can use the hook like a stand or to hang it up with and I sometimes just loop it into my jacket to guide the way, and it even has a reasonably strong magnet on the back so you can stick it to metal surfaces if required. It is covered in a nice tactile rubbery plastic that doesn't slip too easily and has a good positive on off switch. If there is one small drawback it is that you have to undo two screws to change the batteries rather than it having a twist lock or catch but it's really not a big deal. At Amazon's price it is ok value but I just bought the same lamp on ebay for £2.99 with free delivery and batteries included which is an absolute bargain.

These little gems arrived today. The quality is surprising & they are everything I'd hoped for, not only do they have batteries loaded & magnetic back , but the hook swivels so can be turned to whichever angle you need. Just one bit of info, don't worry if they don't switch on when you unpack them, that's because you need to unscrew the backs......... there are no instructions on how to get into the batteries which you need to do so that you can remove the piece of plastic to activate the light. Once screwed back together,the lights work & are very bright A really good buy !

These led lamps are a great little product and more versatile than the Rolson 61770 72 LED Camping Light which I have also bought. The magnet on the back is strong enough to support the light on a fridge door and the hook is easy to open and use. They're very bright and three together would be plenty for most people's needs. One niggle is battery access. There is no cover or hatch on these, instead you undo two screws on the back and take the back off to replace the batteries. If batteries died in these when used for camping then it could be problematic if you don't have a phillips screwdriver or a multi-tool handy.

The first LED hand lamps I got had 3 LEDs and a more complicated mechanism, which breaks down. I got some of these lamps ages ago to replace broken 3ers. I was delighted to be able to get some more of the 25 LEDers, which are merciless to dark corners. One caution; they don't work out of the box. You have to unscrew the back and remove the plastic tag in the battery compartment that stops them being switched on accidentally in the box!

Found one of these on a dog walk and was so impressed I sought them out. This three pack offer was exceptional value and lights have a good hook and strong magnet fix so can be kept easily to hand. We use one by the back door, one in a dark hall cupboard and one in the airing cupboard. Good bright light and always at hand to use. Now going to get another three for the car, garden shed and dog walks!

Thought it would be as bright as my head torch but the product is much dimmer. Its OK for camping though, you have enough light to see by if getting into a sleeping bag at night for example. You wouldn't want to be reading a book though as its too dim.

We take these out on winter walks, to light our way when it gets dark. They are nice and light and bright. The batteries that come with them don't last long, but put in a decent battery and all is bright again. For the money they're very good value. The magnet is strong and comes in handy sticking it to the car at night and so does the hook (when there's nothing metal about to stick it to).

Es lo que se anuncia: son lámparas pequeñas que se pueden colgar o pegar en superficies metálicas gracias al imán incorporado. Pero las pilas no duran nada, en dos días ya empiezas a notar que la cantidad de luz que emite baja sensiblemente. Para completar el compartimento de las pilas se cierra con tornillos, lo que hace la tarea de cambiarlas más dificil –lo que no sería un problema si las mismas durasen más. Al final de los tres tengo dos tirados en un cajón y uno lo uso esporádicamente.
