Probably not. This adapter is designed to take the single microphone connection on the TRRS setup and feed it to both the L and R mic inputs (stereo pair) of a camera. If you tried to use if "backwards", you'd end up with the L and R audio outputs bridged together and fed to the microphone on the headset.Mostly, TRRS headsets work just fine when plugged into a normal headphone output without any sort of adapter.

For the Rode SC4 the female takes a TRS and the male is TRRS. It's the opposite for the Rode SC3 where the female is TRRS and the male is TRS. Sounds like you want the Rode SC3 and not the SC4 Adapter. Note that adapters are compatible with stereo microphones, BUT with both left and right channels combined to a mono signal to be compatible.
