Gardena Twin-Tap Connector: Connects Two Devices to The tap, can be Used with Gardena Water Computers and timers, Water Flow can be Regulated or Switched Off (8193-20)

This is a far more attractive water distributor than the Y splitter that it has replaced. As with all Gardena products, its build quality is second to none. It comes with two hose adapters which fit onto each of the 3/4” threaded outlets. I kept one in place for our garden hose and attached a water timer to the other outlet, connected to a micro-drip watering systems for our pot plants. We have a standard British garden tap with a ¾” thread. The Gardena is designed to work with both 1” and ¾” taps via an enclosed adapter. I tried screwing the Gardena adaptor tightly onto my tap but had a significant leak. I solved the problem by using thread tape, which had usefully been provided with the water timer that I was testing. I think the problem is mainly related to my old garden tap than any fault of the Gardena device. The plastic ¾” connections at the bottom end fitted perfectly to my water timer with zero leaks, whilst the supplied hose adaptor also worked perfectly. I am very pleased with the product and it looks as if will last for many years, providing that it is removed each year before the onset of frosty weather in winter.

Gardena is a name that says quality in the garden and this is no exception with his dual hosepipe adaptor, easy to install quality feel to the on/off knob, I have a hosepipe permanently connected to one side and use the other for filling my watering can would recommend this for any gardener

Worth spending the extra money on this garden tap splitter as its strongly made after spending half the cost on 2 cheaper versions that broke every year. You can immediately notice the build quality and weight to know it's in a different league. You get what you pay for! The fit of the connectors is excellent

This is a very useful and effective tap splitter. It is simple to install and does not leak. I left it while away on holiday for 10 days and am pleased to say that it functioned perfectly. I had one tap on a slow drip and the other hooked up to a timer (bought separately) for a daily watering. The little orange dials let you control the flow of water to just what is needed. I bought a more expensive garden water hose splitter at the same time. The more expensive one is on the garage shelf, but this simpler, more straightforward one is still in use. I find it extremely helpful to have one hose going to a sprinker and the other to a watering nozzle gun. It saves me a lot of time and hassle in disconnecting and reconnecting the hose. The material being plastic, it receives 4 starts instead of 5. I expect that it will last only a few years before needing to be replaced due to the plastic becoming more brittle and eventually developing a leak or crack. But in terms of value for money, this is a fine item, and recommended.

Bought this connector in May 24, it has starting dripping from one of the outlets. Contacted Gradena support by e-mail and sent a video to show it leaking and enclosed the Amazon invoice. Gardena replied saying to remove the outer casing and put the body straight onto the tap and send us an short video of the product in working order for us to determine the fault which has recently occurred As this looked like a sealed product from the factory I queried this with Gardena. This is the reply they sent me: To enable for the casing to be removed you may need to throw the product on the ground or use the flat-headed screwdriver to open the seal to help remove the outer casing. Please try this and let us know how you are getting on. Unbelievable.

Good material, used now for more than a month and had no issues and no leaking

タカギのG099FJから買い替えましたが良い商品だと思います。日本の水道事情では取り付けに困る事もあると思うので、当方の取り付け写真を載せておきます。 ペン塗だけですが視認性向上で使いやすさもUPしたと思います。

Muy fácil de instalar, se nota la calidad en cuanto lo tienes entre manos y es conectarlo al grifo y ni una pérdida, los dos grifos cierran y abren sin problema, estoy muy contento con el producto y la marca.
