Unity Wall Clock, Radcliffe, Silent Sweep, Modern, Black, 20cm / 8-inch

I have had this clock nearly a month and it has been working consistently and well since it was put up on the wall. I wanted a replacement for a ticking clock that had died after three years. I didn't want the ticking as I have never liked the tick of a clock (some do) so this fit the bill. The outer case (white in on mine) is metal and it has an easy hanging hook for a wall nail. It has a quality feel and so far has kept perfect time. I would recommend this clock. Mine is above the cooker in the kitchen (not ideal I know) but rarely gets hot or steamed as I have a air extracting system and window! It doesn't seem to be bothered! It is perfectly silent to my old ear!

Well wasn’t sure about this clock for the price, but after ordering and it arriving next day I was pleasantly surprised. On removing it from the box I found it to be well packaged, after fitting a battery away it went. It’s not a ticking clock, nice and quiet and looks great. Overall well happy with it.

I had bought a few supposedly 'silent' wall clocks, only to find that they had a noticable whirring noise in a silent room. I am a very light sleeper and find this very irritating, but love the look of a traditional clock with hands. After reading some reviews, I took a chance on this clock and found, to my delight, that it is virtually silent. If you listen right up close and press ear against the clock then you can hear a noise. However, once wall mounted the clock was not audible to me over a few metres away, and I have very sensitive hearing. Only two downsides are that the clock, which once retailed at only £12-15, is now hard to get hold of so the price has gone up. Hopefully Unity will start production again? Secondly, the clock size is a bit smaller than average wall clocks. But a worthwhile compromise for me if the smaller arms keep the noise down.

Lovely neat little wall clock. I bought this for my sons bedroom. It has a sweeping hand which always looks expensive, my son loves it because its so simple and unfussy. It doesn't make any noise so that it won't interfere with light sleepers. A really good price for a really good clock. I will probaby buy a white one too

Exactly as I hoped it would be - not too big - no ticking - looks good. I'm pleased with this clock. Revised review: Bought in May and returned in August. Suddenly the sweep hand started ticking it's way around the face of the clock. More annoying than a regular tick as it's a constant stream of ticks. Returned for exchange. Will wait and see how the new one goes. Nice looking clock, hopefully it keeps up the good silent work. The instruction paper does clearly state that this is a radio controlled clock - it isn't, so not certain why the correct information can't be sent out with the clock. 2nd Revised Review - SUNDAY 12th August: Just requested a return on this clock. One night and it's making more noise than the original one. I am very disappointed as I believed it was exactly what I needed. So that's two of them to go back tomorrow. I can't believe that only two out of all the stock are making a noise. I don't mind a ticking clock, but if I buy one that's alleged to be silent then it's what I expect to receive. Amazon have been excellent with regards this and no problem with returning them for full refund. No clock for now, not until I can find a genuinely quiet one.

Great clock for my home office, not too big, easy to read and has a silent sweeping second hand which is a nice quality touch.

Cute little clock and looks perfect in my master bathroom that has all nickel finishes. It is silent just as described and keeps time well (I've only had it for about a week but it works like a charm!) Very glad I picked this one!

Es un reloj de tamaño mediano. 20 cm. Y cuatro de fondo. Queda totalmente pegado a la pared, lo que es muy deseable para que la suciedad o la grasa de las cocinas no entre a la maquinaria. El marco plateado es de buen plástico y no lleva cristal, todo es de plástico. Se ve bien desde cualquier ángulo. Como detalle decir que el colgador es para tornillo, no para alcayata, que quedaría alejada de la pared y poco sujeta. Si se tiene alcayata, se puede apañar para adaptarlo. Pongo foto del reverso, la maquinaria y el hueco para colgarlo. ES UN BUEN RELOJ. RECOMENDABLE.

Endlich die richtige Wanduhr gefunden die nicht laut tickt und somit einen stört! Funktioniert einwandfrei und sieht auch noch gut aus. Auch ist die kleine Größe sehr angenehm. Würden sie wieder kaufen (haben sie 2x zuhause)
