Amazing seaweed and perfect for miso
So good and you get a ton of seaweed! The little tiny dried peices expand to really large bites that's perfect for miso soup. I'll probably be using the bag for months. I usually soak/rinse in cold water a few times and then boil for a few minutes and rinse. The taste is perfect. A little hint of ocean without being overpowering, and a good "crunch". Also the seaweed consistency is excellent, all the peices are mostly the same color and texture.

Very Good.
I keep this on hand whenever I’m making miso soup, and it's a total game-changer. Being a huge fan of seaweed, I always go heavy on it, and it really enhances the flavor and texture of the soup. What I love about this product is its versatility; it’s perfect for more than just miso, great texture as well. Also great value. I’ve sprinkled it over salads, added it to sushi, and even used it in rice dishes. It's super convenient to use, and storing it is a breeze. The portion size is generous, so there’s always plenty to last through multiple meals. The quality is top-notch too—fresh, flavorful, and always consistent. It’s definitely a pantry essential for me!

Seaweed Salad
I love to use this product in soups and salads. It have a mild salty taste. Its a good substitute for salt because its not as over powering. Its a health substitute with a slippy texture as well. Smells like the ocean. Good quality!

Tasty
I saw seaweed salad at the grocery store at the sushi bar. It was really expensive for a few bites. So I figured I’d learn to make it myself. I purchased the seaweed in hopes that I could re-create the tasty delicacy at home. I found a few recipes online and followed them exactly. Now since the seaweed is not cut into strips, it’s just basically broken up into small bits, the seaweed salad taste is exactly the same. It just didn’t look the same. I found that the seaweed hydrated just fine. It has a nice salty taste. Tasted fresh. It also did not take long to rehydrate. But I did leave it in the refrigerator overnight. It also stays crisp to the bite. I can’t wait to try it in a hot and sour soup and other dishes. I’m going to experiment mixing it with some rice And adding it to some meat dishes. It should be fun. A little goes a long way. And you get two bags with this order. So I should have seaweed in the cabinet for quite some time.

False Advertising - this is a product of China - not Japan.
This is a product of China. Total false advertising by using Hiragana on the packaging. Gross. And they won't refund it.

It’s not made from Japan! Ha.
Since I came back from Japan, I have been craving for his type of seaweed. It’s not a thick long black seaweed that Chinese use, nor the type of dry light seaweed for sushi. I ate these at Japan, and simply fell in love. So, I need to find a right type. Well, this wakame type of ‘seaweed’ is ok, but I don’t particularly like its size. Why so small, can it be a bit larger? Also I noticed this is NOT from Japan, it’s from China. So did I buy a wrong product? I need to pay attention next time, to make sure it’s from Japan. Or, if I’m smart, I should have brought some back from Japan! Until next time when I go there, right?!
