I needed to cut down a 1/2 inch copper pipe that wasn't accessible with a saw. This little cutter did the job easily and added a nice bevel.

Works as it should to debur and round off all-thread and round rod. Have been using it on stainless steel and as long as I go slowly works perfectly to clean the edge as it was designed. The edge is still as sharp as it needs to be to just clean it up no issue putting it in a drill chuck or 1/4” impact drive chuck.

Works ok. Not so great on steel, but should be good on softer metals and other materials. Worth having, if you work with metal, and you get both sizes. The countersink bit is good quality, plus you get a 1/4" hex extension.

I can cut bolts/ threads and have it work as normal. I tried the put a nut on, cut the threads, take the nut off thing to save threads and unless it was perfectly lined up it was very difficult to get the bolts started/ nut started on the bolt. This little tool puts a nice bevel so it slides in a little and allows the threads to line up. It hasn’t dulled out yet like the cheaper ones without cutting teeth did. You can’t press too hard or not press enough or else it’ll dull/not cut. A very precise pressure is needed and you only need to do it for about 5 seconds to get the desired bevel.

I purchased this tool to chamfer 1" Schedule 40 PVC after using a hand chamfer tool on a job with about 30 ends to work...wish I had this before that job as it would've saved enough time to justify the purchase. I had to repurchase this item due to theft, but the time and effort it saves on jobs that I can use it was enough that I wanted to keep it in my tool kit. Heavy duty construction and the carbide shouldn't wear out on me anytime soon. Gives a nice even chamfer provided the pipe is cut straight and the drill is held straight.

The actual bits are fine, the seven fluked 90 degree countersink is sharp and cut aluminum well. I graded the product down as the added quick release extension was unusable due to very poor alignment; no dial indicator needed here. See video.

Sometimes you have to cut off a screw. Getting a nut on the end afterward can be a challenge. This tool makes it easy. It works perfectly with both my drill and my hammer drill. It's super sharp, so it takes almost no time. you also don't have to be perfectly aligned - it's pretty forgiving.

This product didn’t work for me.

Bought the generic version of this and it did nothing except get dull when using it on anything but mild steel. This one actually worked on grade 8 threaded rod and fasteners. Nice.
