e.l.f Mineral Infused Face Primer Small

This is an essential in my make-up routine. The primer feels lovely to apply and leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth. It also helps my foundation last all day.

It feels like I’ve got the most oily skin in the world and literally no primer that I’ve tried has been able to keep it at bay. My makeup always ends up tacky by about 2pm no matter what I do. This affordable little guy is so good?!?!! It feels a little bit greasy when I’m applying it but I wait a few minutes and when I come to put foundation on it just nice and silky. I use this with Rommel Stay Matte powder and then the NYX matte finish setting spray and everything stays shine-free ALL DAY. Game changer! No more dabbing my face with blotting paper multiple times a day or needing to powder up. I’ve never been this matte in my life! I haven’t noticed it causing any breakouts but I’ll keep an eye on it and update if necessary.

This is rather nifty. I haven't thought of using a primer before - I use a moisturiser under foundation so I thought that was the same thing - and it probably is. Anyway, this is a clear gel that I smeared over the wrinkles that seem to be appearing now and it did help foundation to stay on a bit longer and certainly made my skin very smooth and even. I combined it with Sally Hansen's Makeup spray and it seemed to work well with that. For the price it's certainly very good value. I'd recommend it especially if your skin is starting the 40+ years change.

I had run out of my usual primer and decided to order this as a replacement. I am really impressed with this primer, it makes your skin feel ultra soft and hydrated and is a perfect base for foundation. It makes the texture of the skin feel so good, you could wear it with just a tinted moisturiser over the top or no foundation at all. Will definitely buy again. Great value for money too and just as good if not better than some of the pricier primers out there. I also much prefer this to the best selling E.L.F putty primer.

Bought this for a face with seborrheic dermatitis to hopefully help fill the dry flakes so I can apply foundation, it didn't work. Even after applying this primer, my face was full of dry, flaky areas, to the point that the foundation was unworkable. However, on the plus side application is easy and did not seem to make my face any dryer, and it didn't break it out either or cause any reaction. The product has a clear gel consistency but it dries on quite 'wet' if that makes any sense, needs a bit of time to dry.

This primer has a beautiful texture; glides on well and gives my skin a velvety finish. It doesn't "pill" or flake when make-up is applied over it which I had problems with when using other brands. I use this primer even when I'm going make-up free just to take the shine off and even out my complexion. Would recommend and will continue to use.

Lovely smooth consistency. Goes on beautifully and makeup coverage is much better with this underneath.

If you try this, you will certainly fall in love. I can bet on this. 1-It gives super bright look 2-Glossy bright face can be easily visible after applying this. 3- needs 2 mins to dry on face. Even quicker for hot summers. 4- quantity given in the bottle is too less so little heavy on pocket. 5- the colour is transperent gel. Not a tinted one. 6- glides smoothly on skin 7- skin on face feels silky and bright illuminating after each application. 8- leave for 2 mins and then start applying make up. 9- the impact of this primer is certainly visible. So i highly recommend to buy. 10- suits all skin complexion. As it is transperent so it does not gives patchy look at all. 11- make up after this primer lasts for 10 hours easily without touch up . But only in A.C. not in a sweaty weather.
