I bought this as I was going to Svalbard to see the Northern Lights, which I managed to do! I was warned that the temperatures would be around -25 degrees so bought this bad boy. I wore it at the coldest part of the night when Light hunting and it was comfortable and kept my head and face warm. I did have a thick thermal jacket and hood too. I don't think the balaclava would have been sufficient in itself and needs to be one of the many layers to wear but it kept my face warm and the moulded nose and mouth guard made it even more comfortable.

I love the desgins, however the front rubbery part grips onto a helmet as your putting it on. I need to bite it as i put the helmet on to hold it in place, other than that, still my primary balaclava. Easy to wash

I wont recommend it for those who are oval and skinny-tyoe faced and has to wear eye-glasses while cycling. Otherwise its very good product for outdoor cold and it would be more great if it had a nose-pad in it.

Used this for skiing and it was rather more comfy and warm than I thought it would be. It’s actually quite fleecy inside and the thing I I was most surprised at was the fact there wasn’t a build up of moisture from breathing. Also impressive was the fact not once do my goggles steam up. One thing to watch out for is that if your ski helmet is a tight fit then this won’t make things any less tight. On the other hand though if your lid is a few years old and has given a bit then this is ideal.

I've taken a punt on many a piece of online clothing in the past, and they've mostly let me down. Things don't seem to last long, or tend to be way too small because they were created for a specific head size and type (Not European) However, I was nicely suprised by this. Especially at the price. I'm in Englishman with an English head, so if you're of a normal European/British etc head size, this will fit perfectly. It's quite comfortable to use, and i've used it on many an ocassion with no problems, in many instances. Metal Detecting, Fishing, walking the dog - it's fine for all of them. Of course, it could be slightly better with comfort, but at the price it is, you really can't grumble!

Very easy to breathe through this mask, however with the fleece lining it is EXTREMELY warm, definitely for cold nights maybe days too.

Does not allow you to breathe as the picture leads you to believe. Also is flimsy and not hard. allows all the hot air from breath up towards your eyes and glasses/goggles. Only thing good is the material is decent for warmth

So I ordered them one for me and one for a friend and this week husband brutally cold so I had a chance to put it through the ultimate test and I must say it keeps warm pretty good and protect you from the wind so I went ahead and ordered more

Bought for a snowmobile trip in Colorado . Looks awesome .Worked great. Really liked the leather nose/mouth piece . Didn't let any cold air in at 40 mph in 25 degree temp.. Wasn't scratchy or itchy ..had a little trouble using with googles but i think it was more the googles fault
