This stuff is great for so many boat related jobs! but the biggest issue is it sets solid in the tube!!!! and if you don't use it all at once, it very quickly becomes useless and it's too expensive for that!!!! Perhaps a something to stop this would really help 🤷

Problem. Modern close couple WC, syphon is glued in place, within cistern, but starts leaking, adhesive has broken down prematurely. Most silicone sealants are not suitable for full immersion, fish tank sealant not readily available locally. Solution. Marine sealant. Sikaflex products are very good, as I have used automotive sealants before. Its not expensive, by comparison to high performance silicone. It is hard to squeeze out with a gun, next time I'd probably warm it up a little. Once cured, job seems to be done. I have used it for a number of other of little leaky bits, here and there. Would imagine it would be put to a whole range of waterproofing and sealing tasks. so yes, a recommendation.

This is a great product. Ultra sticky do you have to be careful when applying it, but it does a great job filling, sealing and sticking.

Sikaflex is brilliant, but photo shows nossels yet none supplied adding more expense and hassle to go and buy.

Great for sealing many areas that require waterproofing in marine situations

This is the best waterproof sealant around, I did a lot of research as my partners car was letting in a small amount of water around one of the seals which had come off, and this was universally recommended for repairs and sealing, used heavily by the boating community who know what they are talking about. It's not cheap, but worked perfectly, a single application and the issue was fixed, great adhesion and completely waterproof once cured. Recommended!
