Will this fit in a standard jeans pocket?

It would be very tight, I wear pretty baggy outdoor trousers and I'm happy with it in my pocket but I wouldn't carry it in jeans. Also depend how full it is.

Does it have a belt loop?

I have just received the pouch and the logo only says Maxpedition, without the “hard use gear” part. Is also bigger than expected. Is this legit?

yes they have changed the logo three times in the last 6 years hard use gear was changed 7 years ago
