For a while, you could find these replacement bulbs at the various national hardware chains, but not so much lately. These work as they are not too long to fit in most fixtures (the kitchen lamp we have has a screen holding everything in place). I recommend, great price, and as it’s a 10-pack, I probably won’t have to purchase again in my lifetime.

I did a kitchen remodel in 2018 where my Thermador range hood came with halogen bulbs (60 watts each times 4). My neighbor bought LED puck lights and soldered in a type of circuit board to fit into the g9 socket. Recently I purchased a puck-style LED bulb with prongs that did not fit into the socket. I then purchased a corn cob-style bulb with a g9 base that was too long to fit into the half-sphere housing for the socket. These bulbs work great. They are bright, use 3 watts of power, and the price is great. Thanks

When was the last time you saw an LED fail? For me the answer is never. I have them all-over the house and business and with years of usage not any have failed. I bought these for two small fixtures hanging over a bathroom vanity. I was happy to have these LED's, as these lights' stay on all day and are turned-off at night. Figured I would save some $$. Everything was fine until one of them failed after 3 months, and the second failed 3 weeks later. Junk. I will replace them with the original spec halogen bulb. Buy at your own risk.

Product works as expected for under-counter lighting, looks god. Warm light. One major concern arose immediately. By day 3 of installation, 2 of the 40 bulbs had already burned out. If this keeps up, the value equation will get negative. I will update my feedback as needed.

Replaced a blazing heater of a halogen bulb with these. Great, cool to the touch. At first, I thought the color temperature was cooler than 3000k, but used a tester to compare and confirmed that the advertised rating is accurate.

Caution: these bulbs are either directly driven from AC, or have really poor quality driver chips. What this means is that they will flicker at 60Hz. In other words, while you may notice them flickering, you will notice streaking if you moving anything fast enough. Or if you take a slo-mo video on your iPhone. It’s quite annoying, and might cause headaches and/or eye strain. You get what you pay for. They’re fine for Christmas decorations, or infrequently used lights, but I wouldn’t use them for bathrooms or living rooms.
