I had a really, really tight nose ring that was essentially impossible to remove by hand. This thing made it a snap, took two seconds. I don't use the closer but the opener is great!

You can’t put in captive ball hoops in without this if you’re 12 gauge or larger. This was awesome. As long as you position it right it will not slip in the hoop.

I have been wearing captive bead earrings for many years now. Prior to buying these I had always had to do them by hand. Which is anybody knows is a real pain in the butt. I had always heard of people using tools to secure the bead on these earrings in the past but I had never bothered to try. In the past I would just force them on after many hours of trial and once they were worn in well enough I never needed any tools. Recently I added a another piercing to my ear and decided to gauge them up to a 10. Previously all of my captive bead earrings were so well worn that I never needed tools after a while but sadly over the years I lost them. I recently purchased new ones and remembered the headache of having to put them back on. So I decided to buy these and give them a try and boy did they make a difference. Within 10 minutes I had four 10 gauge captive bead earrings done and on my body. Wish I had done something like this sooner. I'm sure I could have done it with regular pliers but these have grooves and are specifically made for these types of earrings. Definitely not required but definitely worth the money in my opinion.
