This Stuff doesn't seem to Repel anything. Cat's ignore it. Squirrels walk over it. It is pretty much worthless. Stop by and you can have the rest of my bottle...

Can i use this in my basment just to keep the cats out of my basement? Or is it reap strong and keep them out of the house all together?

Not sure it will keep animals out of a specific place—-like a barrier—but it does smell great outdoors. The products is oil based and is strong smelling for a time.
