Faicuk Large Collapsible Humane Live Animal Cage Trap for Raccoon, Opossum, Stray Cat, Rabbit, Groundhog and Armadillo 32 x 11 x 13 Inch

A stray mama cat brought her 5 babies to my yard to live in my shed. I was able to trap Mom with a larger trap and get 4 of her 5 babies by trapping them inside their shelter made out of a tote. The last kitten was VERY elusive! Nearly 24 hours later and the baby finally got hungry enough to go into the trap. We used a little trail of tuna juice and small bits of tuna, placed a towel over most of the trap, which helps the kitten from panicking too badly (you cannot cover the area where the trigger bar goes out). Put a little towel on the bottom of the trap, so the baby isn't feeling the wires underneath and felt more secure walking in. The end of the towel rested gently on the trigger plate with a clump of tuna on it. This trap literally helped us to save the little kittens life and reunite it with mom and its siblings. Now, they call can be fixed, vaccinated, socialized and have a beautiful life ahead of them. So thankful for this trap and that it worked so well. My husband assembled it and said it was quite easy to put together and rig up.

Very sturdy, very effective squirrel trap. Ideal size. Humane. Safe and easy to use. No assembly required. Can use a variety of bait. It’s our mainline defense against ground squirrels that would overrun our yard without these valuable tools to deal with squirrel invaders.

My country home is surrounded by hazelnut orchards. I have used the Havahart 0745 to catch hundreds of squirrels and lots of chipmunks over the years. This new trap is a bit cheaper made but it works just as well. I like the new door latch better but the trip lever can be a little problematic in holding the door open. A small adjustment with some pliers may be necessary. I run a wire thru a couple of drilled out nuts and attach it to the trip lever. I also wire a few nuts above to make sure they trip the lever.

Trapping feral kitties who set up their tiny trio on my porch for TNR. Set up two traps for the mother daughter duo. As the stray, meaning dumped male, Sylvester, asked to come in the house to the kennel rather than walk into the carrier. He’s had a successful vet appointment. For the traps, set two up next to each other. The cats are use to me calling them for food. Upon working in their habits since November to make trapping easy. Today’s the day. Cat walked in this trap. Toward the wild caught sardines. Trap didn’t close. Cat walked out. As though she suspected something. Despite the traps being outside tied open for a month until we could get an appointment. Trap hack for quick release, add Vaseline to the hinge when set. Experienced trapper taught me this to help. Compared to the older version this trap is a little harder to close leaning on the floor panel. Upon setting have tested the trap a few times. Compared to the other that’s not been used yet this one requires more weight. Added wild caught tuna to the older trap. It closed easy peasy. Easily nabs the little lady. She feels so safe on the porch from working on grooming the cats for this event she didn’t wince when it shut. Kept enjoying her tuna. Meaning less stress for her. She didn’t freak when I walked up to cover her with a baby sheet. The only thing that the trap, old or new, doesn’t have is a clip to hold the gate closed. A friend lent me a trap that has a clip. Used a piece of wire to tie it shut. Since Tschuss tried to slip out. Her name means goodbye in German. The kitties aren’t very hefty despite eating well this winter. This one kitty probably weighs about eightish pounds and is less than a year. Maybe nine months. Tschuss was on the panel that should have helped shut the trap. Added more Vaseline and hoping this new trap works for kitty number two by tomorrow night for their Thursday appointment. Happy with the trap configuration. Like that the back opens and has a wire clip to create a sturdy back end. Easy to set. Only issue is the trap requires a little extra pressure to close. Hoping this next kitty will full court pressure the panel to help the cage close. Good deal. Should work long term when nabbing other kitties when they show up for TNR.

I had these traps for over 10 years and just bought one more because the entry drop door was lost in one of them. They are very sensitive and effective in catching squirrels. Just set up, lure the squirrels by some of their favorite food along the way inside or top of the trigger plate. They fight like hell inside but could not get out once they are caught. The only suggestion I have is to have a loose tie of the gate to the body so you don’t lose it but still loose enough not to affect the closure.

Worked the first night. Just got yesterday, put out last night and caught the possum in our house. Possum will be going to woods down the street. I can breath a sigh of relief getting this possum out of my house now. Setup is a little tricky, but it works.

The description states it works for squirrels, but it is too small for your average gray type. The slightest bump and the door triggers shut, before they get in far enough to be trapped. My recommendation is to get the next size up trap at least 24 x 8 x 9.

An economically priced, well made, easy to use, effective trap. We've only had it 24 hours and already caught two red squirrels.

Ojo, si la nuez se pone tal cual como biene, la ardilla la come y NO toca la trampa, por eso ponerla atrás.

Buen tamaño para trampear gatitos para poder hacer TNR, muy recomendable.

Funciona muy bien para atrapar ratas grandes.
