A classic done right
The classic Virginia peanut with just the right amount of salt, not oily or greasy. The texture/bite is crisp, just the way I personally like it, reflecting freshness and good packing.

Good tasting but not as large as would be expected for Virginia peanuts. Good value however.

Very bland, kind of stale very low salt
These peanuts were pretty stale tasting. I wasn’t very happy. Also they were bland as I think they forgot to put the salt in there even though it said that they were salted and it was like when you buy the ones that are lightly salted, but they don’t have very much salt at all so not a lot of good flavor on these. I probably won’t order from this vendor again. I’ve ordered them in the past and they were fine, but don’t trust them any longer.

Great Unsalted Peanuts—But Beware!
I subscribed to VD peanuts for over a year. Every tin held fresh, delicious peanuts. Then, the last several months , upon opening the peanuts smelled ‘off’, and within a day after opening tasted rancid, give me stomach aches, and I had to return them. I switched to another brand and am buying them direct. I also believe the tins are not stored properly at Amazon hubs, are left on hot delivery trucks all day, which isn’t healthy for food products. Be aware you can return these if you find them rancid!

Second to none
The quality of the peanuts are excellent, also come in a heavy duty tin. They taste very fresh with just the right amount of salt. Very good value for the money.
