Long battery, lightweight, durable
I use my fitbit inspire 3 everyday, mainly to track steps and heart rate. The extra features of Fitbit that require a premium subscription are just OK, and not really needed for me. I did try their free trial, but decided not to continue the premium service. The sleep monitoring is pretty neat though. For connectivity - It is really easy to setup with your phone with their app, but it just isn't for me. The step counter works great, and I use it to try and track my 10,000 steps a day, sometimes finding that I've come close to the goal just doing general work and movement during the day! I like the reminder vibration to remind you to get up and move every once in awhile (I'm sure you can disable this, but I don't). I went with this model of Fitbit because it is much smaller, and much lighter. The fit is really nice, and super lightweight. The screen is still big enough to read it, as the display is bright and clear. It doesn't work well if you want to do extras like messages/email etc, but I don't use it as a smart watch in that way. If you want those features, probably look for a larger model. The durability is another plus for this tracker. I wear it everyday, and without thinking about it (I forget I'm wearing it 99% of the time) I bump and scrape it on all types of things, especially at work because I work with my hands a lot. I can see scruffs and dings all over the edges now after a few months, but zero issues with the functionality, and no real damage to the screen or buttons. Seems that it will take a beating and be just fine. The other thing I really like about this tracker, and another reason I went smaller, is the battery life. I find I have to charge it maybe two or three times a month (at most). I don't really keep track, but it lasts a very long time, even though I wear it all day, everyday. I don't sleep with it anymore, so I'm sure that saves some battery. Either way, the battery lasts a long time, and charge time is very quickly through USB. My only concern is the waterproof type connector that it uses (a design that a lot of smart watches have) might wear down and require their proprietary cable. Because I haven't charged too many times and the charge lasts so long, I'm not super worried about replacing the cable anytime soon, but something to note - you might have to eventually shell out for their special cable. Overall, I really recommend the Inspire 3 is you want a lightweight, small, easy to read tracker. If you are mainly looking for steps/pulse, it is a great device. If you want some of the extras, maybe go a step up and expect to have a heavier device with shorter battery life.

Really like this tracker, but…….see latest update.
I’ve previously had a Charge 4 and then a 5. Like them both, but all good things come to an end. Typical life span a little over 2 years. I’m ok with that. What I really like about this tracker is the smaller size. When my Charge 5 died (tried to wash it off under the faucet), I looked into the Charge 6. Reviews were not reassuring. So this one had more positive reviews and thought I’d give it shot. So far it’s been great. Easy to use, display responds well to touch, screen is legible, and it supports just what I need. Plus, it’s less $$ than the new Charge. At this point very happy with my purchase. Recommended. Will follow up with updates as needed. Update 5-10-24. So within three days battery dropped to 19%. A disappointment given the description states up to 10 days. So I made a few changes in the watch configuration and fully recharged. After36hours battery is at 66%. A week would be acceptable but anything less a disappointment. Update 5-13-24. Turned off always on display. Battery at 44% after 6 days, not bad. Happy I bought this tracker over the Charge 6. Update 6-1-24 Ok, I really like this tracker. Soooo glad I bought it over the Charge 6. It has yet to disappoint me and Im getting at least 8-9 days from a charge. Best part is I like the small profile and simplicity of the display. I see the large display watches and trackers and wonder why anyone would want such a clunky device on their wrist. Now if you wants apps, fancy displays, emergency calling, and all parameters on one screen, this tracker is not for you. So glad I made this purchase. 1-25-25. So the original Fitbit functionality was great throughout the past 9 months until the hinge point of the strap failed. The plastic where the pin secures the strap to the watch fractured. What to do? I tried some epoxy, worked for a few weeks. So I just ordered a new watch. Unfortunately, the watch gave me less than one year of service. Had it not been for its otherwise excellent performance I would have considered abandoning Fitbit. But I went and ordered a new one. Seems the watch is a disposable item with a life expectancy of less than a year. Too bad, seems few things in life have consistent longevity. I’ll have to see how long this one keeps me happy. I’m not going to deduct a star at this point. We’ll just have to see how this goes. 4-11-25 I really like this device. it has performed well. I've been reading a few negative reviews. Seems people expect too much from a small rather inexpensive fitness watch. This device is great as a tracker but is not without fault. Keep that in mind and you won't be disappointed. I think others feel they should get the equivalent of an expensive electrocardiogram or sleep results that you can only get from visiting a sleep center. Ain't gonna happen. Just use the device as it is intended, as a tracker. Overall, once the tracker has accumulated enough data on your habits, it will serve as a reliable reflection of your exercise and health. I think it is worth it and would buy another. 7-10-25 A few more months of use. No complaints. Good tracker. I sync it up with my iPhone and iPad. Sometimes it goes ok other times I need to pair it again. But not a major issue as it does catch up with the latest data. I rely on this compact tracker quite a bit for my steps, distance walked, exercise time, and general sleep quality. it also seems stop on with my resting heart rate. I still like it very much and would buy again. Another update 11-24-25. Watch very reliable thus far. No issues. Again the small profile of this watch is a real plus for me not to mention 8-9 day battery power. Use it mostly to track steps. I have a goal of 11000 steps / day and I’m on track with one month to go for a full year. Will buy another when this fails but I’m hoping to get more than one year out of this one.

Great watch!
I bought this when it was on sale for $80 and for what it does, its a great price. I replaced my apple watch, I like the slimmer size and sleep tracker is way better than the apple watch in my opinion. Charges pretty quickly and the battery lasts about a week or so.

Good battery life
I purchased this to use mostly to track my steps and activity. The battery life is good and the step tracking seems to be accurate. It also has other features such as heart rate and other activity tracking, timer, stopwatch, alarm, find phone, and notifications. Everything seems to work without issue. The only reason I took a star off is because the auto wake option doesn’t seem to work as consistently as i would like. Other than that, I feel like it is a good Fitbit watch especially for the price I paid. I now wear this instead of the Apple Watch that I purchased for about $200 more.

Love using it so far
I have had an Apple Watch for over 10 years now which was impressive, decided to go with something a little different this time around since the Apple Watch can’t really hold a charge longer than 15 mins now. My impressions after using it for a few weeks, I love the fact that the battery lasts around 10 days rather than my Apple Watch that would only go around 24 hours before requiring a charge. This allowed me to use it to get sleep stats since I don’t have to stick it on a charger every night. It basically has a lot of similar features that the Apple Watch has, minus the ability to call which wasn’t too big of a deal for me. For those wondering like I was, you do have the ability to receive texts and email notifications on your watch. You can also set alarms and timers on it as well, just note that it’s a vibration alert as I don’t think there are any speakers on the watch. The watch also has a find my phone option which plays a loud sound on your phone for you to locate it. Overall it’s like having a nice budget fitness watch with some really nice smart watch features built in.

Overall Awesome
I bought this over a year ago and it is still going strong. I do a lot of walking, so I only use the mileage counter, but there are many other features to use that work great along with many different faces to choose from. Its simple. I like simple and don't need fluff. Battery lasts for over a week. Fashionable and smart. Still cannot believe I only paid $30 for it! Highly recommend!

Wanted to Love It, Didn’t
This is my review after almost one year of using the Fitbit Inspire 3. My first fitness watch was the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 ($40), and I loved it. It lasted a little over a year, including a two-week beach vacation where I definitely pushed its water resistance past the limit (which it does state not to do so in the little pamphlet). It gave out a month later. Missing my Xiaomi watch, a year ago, I decided to “upgrade” and try the Fitbit Inspire 3 ($100) instead of just repurchasing the Xiaomi. All I really want is a watch that shows me the time, date, calories burnt, is water resistant, and syncs activity to Apple Health. Both watches are slim, comfortable, and easy to set up. I charged each about once a week. Syncing wasn’t an issue overall. Both were functional for the most part. The Fitbit app is more polished and user-friendly than Xiaomi’s (at least when I last used it). It looks cleaner and more organized. That said, I personally didn’t need it since I sync everything to Apple Health. Many of Fitbit’s extra features require a subscription, which I knew going in. If you plan to use their programs, that might be a plus for you. The one feature Fitbit clearly did better was automatic exercise detection. If I started walking for an extended period, it would automatically detect and track the workout. On my Xiaomi 8, I had to manually start workouts. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but Fitbit was more convenient here. Unfortunately, that’s where the advantages ended for me. Xiaomi actually had better practical display options. I like seeing the time, date/day, and calories burned all at once. With Xiaomi, there weren’t many designs, but I could find watch faces that showed exactly what I wanted. Fitbit has more designs, display options, and even photo options, but they seem to prioritize aesthetics over useful information. I couldn’t find a single display that showed everything I wanted at the same time. The most frustrating issue was the screen wake-up. With Xiaomi, I rotated my wrist to look ant the time and the time showed. With Fitbit, the screen often wouldn’t wake up when I rotated my wrist. I’d flick it multiple times and nothing. I eventually stopped relying on it as a watch and only wore it for tracking, which defeats the purpose. Connectivity was occasionally annoying. If the phone or watch died, the Fitbit sometimes struggled to reconnect. Restarting the watch usually fixed it, but it shouldn’t be necessary. The biggest problem, and the reason I’m replacing it, is charging. Before even reaching one year, it stopped charging properly. I have to position it very specifically to get it to connect. I leave it charging overnight and it only reaches 20%, if it charges at all. At this point it’s almost always dead or dying. For a $100 watch, that’s disappointing. I kept the Fitbit only for the automatic detection, but I remember since day one doubting if I should return it, and missing my Xiaomi. I tried giving the Fitbit a fair chance. I never ended up liking it, even before it started giving me the charging issues. Recently, my cousin showed me his newer Xiaomi 10 model, which automatically detects workouts (even specific ones like rowing). That was the only feature keeping me with Fitbit. At the time, I did a lot of research before buying this and still regretted the decision, so I’m sharing my experience in case it helps someone else. I’ll be going back to Xiaomi.

Great value tracker
Super tracker. Seems to overestimate length of walks etc if auto tracking as it counts cooling down too for a while. But good battery life and easy to use and wear
