The mesh makes great air filters for steel PC cases
Used it to make 150 micron air filters for my PC cases. It was sandwiched between 1/2" W x 1.5mm T single adhesive magnetic tape and 1/2" W 1/16" T single adhesive white neoprene tape. The photo is my first attempt at making air filters. It gives the front of the white Cooler Master Qube 500 case an nice open skeletal look. Also made filters for the back and the bottom, where fans are installed.

Excellent for straining airbrush paint
I bought the 130 micron, 39"x39" nylon mesh to strain lumps out of paint for airbrushing. I cut it into 2" square pieces and push it into the airbrush cup, then discard it after each fill. Haven't had a clog since! Works out to about $.03 per filter and I get about 360 out of a sheet. I usually use acrylics and thin them to a little thicker than milk consistency and it works well for that. I might suggest a finer mesh if you use thinner paints.

Used To Strain Tigger Pods
The 150 micron size is good for straining copepods from the culture jar when I'm changing the water in it. I do find the mesh leaves your hand feeling kind of oily after handling it, so definitely wash it first before you use it for anything.

Great for making custom computer dust filters
Purchased this along with one-sided magnetic tape to make custom magnetic dust filters for fans on an old PC case. Almost zero dust in the case since installing, far better than the built-in PVC filters (or no filters). Just make sure your PC has positive pressure: more fans blowing in than out. Only issue is nylon isn't very durable and the edges are prone to fraying, but dust filters shouldn't be getting moved around a lot anyway.
