Nice compact walking back pack
it is as described. I am able to put all my items in it for my daily walks. Good quality seems water resistant. very travel friendly. The zip quality seems good so afar. I just got it and my review is premature only used it twice. Alot of pockets.

Great pack, great price.
While there isn't a huge volume capacity, the side and rear pouches, along with thr small capacity hip belt pockets, made this a very versatile day pack on my recent trip to Egypt. I felt it held everything I might need for a day of exploring, without being cumbersome and awkward. 1st aid kit, water bottles, an umbrella, extra clothes, gadgets, rain shell, and more all fit nicely into this unit. It's compression straps were very handy and well placed. It rode comfortably on the shoulders with it heavily loaded down. One detail that I would change: the exterior zipper on the rear pouch is one directional, and not as convenient for access as a two directional one. Pretty minor issue. It held up really well for the 24 days of heavy use it just received. I felt it a massive bargain, especially when I thought I was getting a last minute " beater" pack that would fall apart fairly quickly. That was definitely NOT the case. I really like this pack. I worked in the backcountry of Glacier NP for decades, have used all manner of packs, day use, work, expedition. This rates very highly as one of the most versatile, hardy, smaller packs that I have ever used. I like it. I think you will, too.

For cycling,not hiking
First, this is a CYCLING backpack, not a hiking bag! - the side pockets people say are too small are sized to fit a standard bike water bottle securely. The weird flip out front section is to hold a helmet- there is even a clip perfectly shaped to go through a vent hole in a helmet and keep it secured. The size is perfect for cycling as well- you don't want a heavy bulky bag, just enough for a few essentials. This is a good pack for traveling with your bike on a bus or shuttle so you don't have to leave any gear on your bike while it's on the rack. For that purpose it's exactly right.

Jury is Out.....
I have used this for day hikes. Mostly it is a good product. I hike in remote areas and bring what i need with me. I needed a lightweight pack but didn't want to spend too much for what I really wanted (cotopaxi, osprey or arc'teryx). It seems durable and survived the desert in Moab, UT. Not sure about waterproof as it didn't rain. What I like: The back mesh area is great to reduce sweating; The hip straps have convenient zip compartments; There are multiple ways to get the pack to fit; The middle 'helmet' section is good for storing light loose clothing items as you shed them. It seemed light weight but hard to tell after I packed my gear. What I don't like: The compartments are deep and hard to access, if you fill one compartment the other compartment is reduced in size; If you need to use a liquid bladder it would greatly decrease storage; Though there are multiple ways to get pack to fit, I seemed to have to refit almost every time I took it off. I am very petite and think that the size was too big for me. It is so hard to find a pack to fit me. I will continue to use for local small hikes but think I will have to eventually purchase a different one for longer hikes.

Light and rugged
I'm happy with this. Been on dozens of miles of trail running and this stays in place, takes a beating and is the perfect size for 3 L of hydration, and light snacks.

Nice adjustable snug fit.
Using this for a weighted pack. I can snug my weights up close to my center of gravity so itโs very comfy. Thereโs room for a water bottle and easy access pockets for keys and phone. Iโm a little nervous about the quality of the straps and latches with the amount of weight Iโm packing, but so far so good.

Practically perfect, if you are a normal height
My favorite hiking pack was old and gave up the ghost so I have been on a quest for a replacement. I've tried over 15 bags at this point. This would have been the winner, but it is a bit too tall for a casual daypack on my 5'2" frame. It has everything else: padded waist belt, not too much thick and stiff back padding, good pockets for organization, but not so many that you forget where you put your small things. It if was 15 inches tall instead of nearly 18 I would have kept it.

Great product!
Took it on vacation. Was perfect for hiking and biking. Lightweight, comfortable, and the size was perfect! Adjustable straps made it possible to pack larger items such as a coat, extra clothing, additional water, and snacks. Having inside and outside zipper pockets helped to keep things organized.

Lightweight hiking bag
I honestly love this back pack. Light weight, fits tons of things, feels comfortable on. I put my bear spray in one side pocket, extra water on the other, my pocket knife in the waist strap. (Wish it came with the water bladder but thats sold separately)

Perfect for Day Hiking
This is the perfect size for a day hike. I love that it is not too big or heavy, has many storage areas and buckles at the waist, thereby reducing the chance of movement when hiking.

Worth it!
Love this bag! I have brought it with me everywhere from hiking to cycling. It is handy, compacted but still spacious. I love the pocket options and the way it clips from chest to waist - makes it feel snug and secure. I wash it in the washing machine and it comes out clean and ready to go. Great investment.

nice little pack for the price.
I bought this for winter use so can't use the hydration pack (the water hose would freeze). The two mesh pockets for water bottles are VERY SMALL and will not fit a normal water bottle. The pockets on the hip belt are handy for little things but will not hold a phone ....unless you still have an iPhone mini. That MAY fit. Not perfect but seems well made and having a hip belt to take the weight off the shoulders is fantastic so for the price I will keep it.

My son loves it!
This is the perfect backpack for skiing, sleep overs, day trips and more. So may pockets to keep you organized, and isnโt bulky but still holds lots of stuff!
