McCabe Organic Hulless Barley Tea-1.5lbs

This is so delicious! I ordered, tore through half the bag in a week of giant tea mugs, ordered two more! Has a pleasant toasty flavor. I kinda overpour in a cub, leave extra kernels in the fridge for the next day kinda like reusing a tea bag.

I was so excited for this tea. I made the tea once It was delivered! I boiled a pot of hot water and put some roasted barley in the pot and continue boiling for maybe 1 minute. Then covered the pot and let it steep until it was warm. It tasted just like what I expected. I am happy I made this purchase. The longer it seeps, the darker the tea becomes, and the roasted taste is stronger. I guess it’s personal preference how long you want to seep your tea.

This tea taste really good and fresh

I read the reviews prior to buying, some praising and some disparaging. I don't know what "real" barley tea is supposed to be, as this is my first and only experience with it. Seemed a little weak to start, but you can always add a litle more and/or let it steep longer. I like it.

I make barley tea in my 4liter pot. My wife and I enjoy this specially in cold weather. I has good flavor. Wish it was little cheaper though.

I like to make iced tea from this barley and drink on hot summer days. It's delicious and high quality, and I appreciate that it is certified organic.

RE: Headache Galore causing sleepless nights Tastes good, feels awful. Beware!!!! Something about this product- despite the organic label - gave me a splitting headache and neck-ache every day and night for days on end and I realized it was b/c this tea I was drinking is contaminated probnlably with arsenic and hevy metal run off- which they don't test for
