I bought this to use in my cat's water bowl. She won't drink out of the cat fountains I bought her, only her bowl. This filter works perfectly for my application. It's absolutely silent and produces a steady stream. The water intake is on the bottom, with no screen or sponge. I'd imagine if you use this in something like a turtle tank, the impeller would eventually get blocked by debris. 10/10 for me.

We were rehabbing a tiny baby turtle. This filter worked great, added water movement in the tank as it should. Can't go wrong for the price. Pretty quiet.

I loved this at first. Kept my turtles water clear and rotating. Motor totally died after only 3 weeks!!!

bottom does not stick good to tank and falls forward. Besides that if for a small tank works pretty good. Quite filter and good water flow.

Item works great nice and small so it doesn't take up much room. Just need to make sure you notice the noises because the noise changes and water flow when something is off with it. Example rocks in the filter yes the smaller rocks get sucked up from time to time.

This is small, very quiet and perfect for our two turtles. The flow is not too strong it is perfect to filter the water and provide a small waterfall for them.

A great little filter. I do have to wash the little sponge filter every couple of days because I use live food and it cleans a lot. Also, my homemade habitat appears much bigger than the one shown with the habitat in the photo. I'm sure it would be great for that. I would like to purchase the "water tube" that's In the photo for water changes. Also an extra sponge filter but don't see where to get them. I give the little pump 10 out of 10.

Had it for about 2hrs, switched it on after 30 mins then motor died and it no longer works. Another minus is it only has American sockets which I didn't realise but i had a spare adapter. Don't waste your money on this worthless piece of crap

The plug can’t plug in anywhere I thought I needed a shaver plug but that doesn’t work so how do I make it work ????
