How tall is this item, really? Listed Dimensions are confusing - is it 16.5 inches, or 18.6 inches?

Do you need to use a special bottle or can you just use any glass or cup?

It must be used with the bottle that comes with the machine to make the sparkling water , than after the sparkling water is ready u can tranfer to another bottle or a cup

Can i buy a bottle with cap which isn't plastic ?

I have the old sodastream screw in water bottles. Will they screw into this unit?

Hi! The Sparkling Soda Maker does come with one 1L carbonating bottle. It is not recommended to use other screw-in water bottles as the threads may not match and damage the machine or the bottle. You can, however, refill your SodaStream bottle with the carbonated water after making it in the provided 1L bottle. Hope that helps!

Das Eindrehen der Sprudelflaschen ist etwas mühsam, nach etwas Übung gelingt es. Das Sprudelgerät wirkt - auch optisch - leider etwas billig und ist unstabil wenn man den Sprudelknopf bedient. Für den Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet.

Si no puedes vivir sin agua gasificada, esta máquina es un excelente reemplazo de la Soda Stream: usa los mismos cartuchos de Soda Stream, hace menos ruido y es más bonita. Muy recomendable.
