DuraflameFirestart CUBES Firelighters, 18 pack

This product was amazing at starting some backcountry fires that I used them for. The got my kindling started very fast and didn't fail. They are also lightweight for carrying in a backpack. My friend has some matchstick size starters that are even smaller in size and of course a bit lighter in weight if you are looking for the ultimate, small and light firestarter. This is an exceptional product especially if you will carry just a couple as I did.

These things are great. I used to get those big a** logs that take up a bunch of space when camping. These replaced that. Went camping and had two fires. One of these per fire worked wonders. The second fire was a little damp, but this started the fire with no issues. And they save a ton of space and weight when camping. They are very smelling when you open the wrapper on one, but I didn’t have any problems with the smell when storing. Each one is individually wrapped.

This sure light up fast! That plastic goes quick better to have it in the fire and light with a long match or bbq lighter. Burns great and I use them for winter camping. For other times I just use a short piece of rolled up Gorilla tape.

The media could not be loaded. We camp a lot during the short Michigan summers and when we’re not camping we enjoy the occasional “driveway fire”. These are the only starters I use. They work awesome.

These are very useful for campfires and fireplace fires. I use them in both applications. I do notice that it does take two to efficently start and keep a fire going.

My wife and I go camping a lot and usually always have a campfire when we are there. I have tried many different types of Firestarter liquids and sticks but these are the best I have ever found. I only need one cube to start a fire and keep it going.

I’ve used this for years for my home fireplace and fire pit. Always works well without issues.

This is a great product, you get a lot of them in each package, the wrapper instantly catches, and they burn for almost 10 minutes so you'll probably get even somewhat wet wood started if you know what you're doing.They're also quite small, about the size of a pack of gum, so you throw one in a survival pack (but note that if you're going to do that, it does smell like oil)
