Johnson Pumps Ultima Combo Bilge Pump 500 GPH

Works fantastic!

This is third one, the auto switch stuck in on position in less than 60 days with all three.. pump works good without the switch manually.But if you’re not close it will kill your battery …very disappointing

This was a direct replacement for shower sump. It was easy to install and works well.

I bought this pump because it was the exact pump that was in my boat. I should have been able to just put the ends on, and plug it into the existing wiring and it should have worked. But no it did not. My brother who is an electrical mechanic could not get it to work either. He had to modify the hook up to get it to work. Problem being, the light on the dash for bilge switch stays on all the time, even when the pump is not running, draining the battery ( this did not happen with the pump I replaced). Obviously electrical wiring changes have been made to the exact bilge pump I had installed 5 years ago. Not happy with the pump at all. The pump I replaced pumped much stronger, this one the water just dribbles out and takes forever to pump out the rain water.

Avoid, New Johnson pump bad, will not pump, impeller turns, 13v at pump, design of impeller and housing seems poor fit. I'm 4 days past return. I bought 3 pumps of these unfortunately. All 3 going in trash. Never again will consider a johnson pump.

This pump stopped working while our customers were using boat & water started entering boat, our friends were OK, we were quite upset and embarrassed. This wasn't good, being out on the ocean fishing. It could of been a tragic ending. Thankfully it wasn't
