BLAME! 5

I'm not revealing spoilers. you'll just have to read the book to find out. It it just amazing from seeing the perspective of the world that tsutomu nihei created! this is by far my favorite story and my only regret is that i didn't know about BLAME sooner. 2017 is definitely a year to remember and I'm very happy to have come across such beautiful art, thank you Mr. Nihei. The Final volume of the master edition BLAME 6 is almost here, DEC 12 2017. check out nihei's other works - biomega & knights of sidonia. one more thing : BLAME! the movie is getting a sequel and viz media has the distribution rights but no word yet when the blu ray/dvd will be released, the sequel will be released on Netflix 2018 . you can stream the movie on Netflix along with knights of sidonia

This series is something at which to marvel. It is so unique in every aspect. The Master Edition books are genius, too. I love having the oversized book to read everything. It has taken a long time to finish, due to school and life being so damn busy, but this is a series worth reading. Once I finish, I'm going to indulge in the Netflix movie.

The artwork is still amazing: fashion design meets anime with plenty of sci-fi goth influence. The story at this point is more character driven with explosions and monsters rather than fantastic dystopian "tech-scapes." Book number five is the 3rd of this novel and it is definitely a different book now. More dialog, more characters and it's sad that it is coming to an end.

Tsutomu Nihei is far and away my favorite manga artist! He has a visionary imagination, is a wildly creative storyteller, and his illustrations are just beautiful!

The story can start to get extremely confusing from here forward so take your time with this one. The art, character designs, and world that Nihei has created are still incredible to look at though. Even if you find yourself confused by the story, the visuals are never a let down.

I like the minimal story. I like the drawing style. I like the architectural style. The organic robot-crustacean motif in swarms for the bad guys.. The best. Everybody loves swarms of stuff... I have yet see something that I didn't have to have. God bless him.

My grandson loves this series of books. And they were way less expensive than the bookstore.

This is Nihei's best. Silicone life rushes closer to its goal, to accessing the netsphere, to the end of humanity and the rise of silicone life. Cibo and Killy reunite, but at what cost? And is this even the Cibo he knew? They rush to recover the genetic sample of a pure human from P.Cell... and we learn more about the motivations of silicone life and we see the brutality of The City taking its toll on our cast. Few will survive it, but with what the city has taken from them... what is even left? And can any stop what SIlicone life has set in motion? This uniquely singular world and setting from the imaginative artist and writer Nhei taps into his best aspects of creation. Setting, world, mystery... the plot is simple, characters have clear motives with supporting situations that explore them in quiet and reserved ways. This story is the perfect expression of Nihei's talents. No wonky teenage melodrama, no weird back half changes... it starts, journeys, and ends beautifully.
