I moved into an apartment a couple of years ago and brought my 2-step utility stool with me. It was too cumbersome to use in this apartment, and I wanted to find something that gave me a boost without having to turn into a balancing act. I also wanted to be closer to the shelves I was trying to reach. This small but mighty step is perfect for me, and I recommend it highly to anyone who just needs a boost to reach the back of a cupboard or a high shelf. I gave my utility stool away and look forward to finding more uses for this sturdy stool. Oh, I gave it 4 stars in the rating questionnaire for folding flat because it is a bit of a battle for me to push in the prongs. It doesn't take up much space, so I am leaving it fully assembled and ready to use.

I have the three step version of this product, but it is very bulky (although it also folds up nicely). So, I wanted this product for less intensive tasks (where I'm pulling only light things down) like getting my sweaters from the top shelf of my closet now that it's winter here. It is so fast to unfold the legs on this that I can pull it out, use it and put it back in less than five minutes. This metal step is perfect when you're just about 8-10 inches out of reach of light objects. It folds into a very compact size which saves room for me in my living space. (I'm claustrophobic and I don't like clutter.) You pull each of the four legs out 90 degrees, holding a small round pin at the base of the leg in until the leg is fully extended. When the leg is fully extended, the pin will click, locking the leg in place so there's no chance of the step stool collapsing underneath you. It was very safe, sturdy (held an adult female-average height and build with zero wobbling) and compact (making storage easy). It is also easy to clean and very durable. It even has a little handle for carrying it while it's folded up!

I was leary because of a few reviews but bought it direct from Amazon knowing I could return it if it wasn't strong enough, This lightweight, easily portable with folding legs step is the best investment I've made in an RV. Too often I can't get down from the bottom step of my RV because of how high it can end up after leveling it. I have a bad knee so stepping down is very painful and much more difficult than going up. This holds my husbands 257 with no problem and has large feet but can use this small step without missing it. I'm 5'2" and I can get in and out of trucks, RV's, and easily bring it in to reach upper storage compartments. I bought two and just tried to buy more and they're sold out! Buy one if you find one is my advice.

I bought this stool to help my husband, who is disabled, get into and out of bed. It's a sturdy stool and bears his weight easily (~135 lbs), but the feet are slippery and don't "stick" to our hardwood floors. I was hoping for rubbery feet that wouldn't slip and slide. We ended up cutting up some non-skid rubber mesh that you put under rugs to keep them from slipping. We cut small pieces of that and tied it around the stool feet with rubber bands. That created a non-slip surface and the stool now stays in place. Sucks that we had to do that, though.

I’ve purchased a few of these before from different vendors and they always loose a screw and fall apart. I’ve had this one for a while and it’s still in great shape! I’d buy it again but so far I haven’t had to!!

My Mother needs a few extra inches to get in and out of our car and this stool is great! We are on our 4th one since apparently remembering to put the stool back in the car before backing out is very difficult, and it's a great strong stool but not meant to withstand a car driving over it! It's light weight and super easy to fold and slide under the car seat. It's very sturdy since the legs go out to the sides making it extra stable and the rubber feet won't let it slid around.

The step stool fits the side of my bed on the floor perfectly.

It feels sturdy for the most part, but because of how the pins are, they are loose and with all the legs extended out, they wiggle a bit. When you stand on it, you can jiggle it a bit while standing on it. If you don't jiggle, it feels fine. I like how compact it is and that it's metal. Just wish it felt sturdier.

My mother will be 91 next week . We drive a 4x4 pickup , and she could not get into it . We tried other steps with no success . Some were to high , others were awkward to store . This works perfectly for her and is so easy to store and tote . She is thrilled to be able to get around now with us . This is sturdy and mother feels safe using it , says it is not flimsy like some were . The fact that this folds makes it super easy to keep in the back seat area . Well made , safe , and easy to store , nothing more to ask from a product .

Well this little product was worth the money, I bought it for a family member who's mobility has been compromised from 32 years of nursing on hospitals concrete floors, so her knees are basically bone on bone now. So this little stool was a perfect item to buy to help her get in and out of bed. The little rubber fleet stay firmly in place, and the heavier weight limit ensures that the there is no movement even when both feet are standing on it. It was a small price to pay to help not only mobility but to ensure safety of a loved one..

I use this step in my spa when i am styling lashes. My clients love the step up to the bed and now longer have to hop on up ;) great product, sturdy and my clients feel safe using it - not flimsy at all. Great purchase.

I have damaged knees so they can't pull me up onto anything too high. This stool helps me get up onto the first step at the front of the house after years of ground settling.
