This putting stroke training mat comes very nicely packaged in a little steel tin so you can keep it nice and safe, but it also means it makes a lovely gift.When you unfold the mat, you notice it’s made from a lovely soft material with deep rich colours to stand out against the black background of the mat when you are standing up. It was quite tricky to get the creases out of it and in the end I gave it a low heat iron to smooth it out and then it was fine on a solid floor but if you put it on anything else like carpet or grass outside it doesn't work so this is very much an indoor wooden floor practice mat which then means you can actually use a ball as that won’t give you an accurate representation of putting on a green. That being said it did help with my stroke and swing technique to make sure I was drawing it back correctly and following through.Overall, for £14.99 currently it’s not a bad price for the mat and nice tin it comes in, but I think it needs a deal to be good value for money.

Portable but not easy to use and much smaller than expected

I’ve been a golfer for years and tried many things, this is a good positive aid that you can use multiple ways. It’s a little overpriced I’d say, you get a small tin to carry it in the bag, I just fold it up and stuff it in the small fro g bag pocket instead. It’s a thin silky material with eyelets in it to tee peg it down to the floor so it doesn’t wrinkle up when you catch it. There are multiple lines to check stance width, alignment and putter head angles and length of stroke on one side and flip it over and it’s a mock hole with an overshoot guide, this is what I’ve found most useful, I like the alignment setup check when I start practicing but then I can practice e all the different breaks onto my fake hole. It’s better for distance putting though as you can’t listen for the ball to drop on shorter ones and it encourages you unto look up at the ball to see if it rolls over the hole.Good aid.

The media could not be loaded. I got this to teach basic golf skills in a special education environment. It is very simple and allows me to replicate a real hole in preparation for getting children with autism used to some golf skills and familiar with how to set up in preparation for taking them to a golf course when and if they feel ready. It is great that the hole dimensions are the same as a real hole too as this helps for learning away from a golf course. There are 6 free training videos too which you can access via a QR code which comes inside the packaging and helps you understand how to use the mat correctly. Very light and compact which makes this very user friendly as takes up minimal storage space and can be used anywhere.

this really does work. if you've not had any professional guidance or training, you will probably have some bad habits. this is a brilliant little training accessory. you need to be focused and take some time to practice, but if you stick at it, you will see improvements in your posture and swing. the quality is very good, the instructions and clear but i would suggest watching a couple of youtube videos to get the best out of it.

Firstly the packaging took me by surprise as it’s so small however the silk/satin thin cloth rolls very nicely up into the carry case that it comes it.This is a training aid that you have to take to a good putting green to get the best results you stretch the mat out and secure it by using tees pushed into the grass through the pop holes in the mat this secures the mat into the grass nice snd flat simple and easy.I do like how it helps you stand correct and helps with direction of putting and my putting had got better reducing my three putts a lot and I enjoy watching the instructional training videos that come with the Mat which has helped reduce my scores brilliant.I am a little bit disappointed with the price point to £15 as the Mat is quite small Training videos are available all over the net so a little bit disappointed
