Thermoelectric refrigeration cooling unit
The cooler is well built, and I bought it to play with and see if I could add it to my mini fridge when I was done. You must remember that you will need a 5 amp power supply and a temperature control module. I had it running stand alone in open air for hours turning on and off. I could not add it to my mini frig, but I still have it around for another project.

Efficient cooling for DIY projects: What you need to know before installing it
I have purchased this thermoelectric cooling system for a project of mini fridge and the results are interesting, but require technical attention. Key points after use: Cooling capacity: The Peltier module performs its function. It manages to lower the temperature steadily, but it is vital to ensure good thermal contact. Installation: The kit comes pre-assembled, which is appreciated, but I recommend checking the screws. In my case, I had to adjust them a bit to improve the pressure on the plate. Noise: The fan is standard. It's not ultra-silent, but for a workshop environment or inside a cabinet, the noise level is acceptable. Consumption: Operating at 12V, consumption is stable. Make sure you have a power supply with enough amperage (I recommend at least 6A so you don't force the supply). Pros: Good size heat sinks for the price. It's easy to integrate into small projects. Cons: It doesn't include detailed instructions, so if you're a beginner, you'll need to look for external diagrams. Short cables according to your box design. Verdict: It is an excellent choice for DIY enthusiasts. Don't expect to cool a room (it's not a real air conditioner), but for small compartments or component cooling, it works great if the hot air outlet is managed well.

cheap air conditioner for an enclosure
I used two of these to cool a drive enclosure. I couldnt fit a proper air conditioner and I just needed a tiny bit of cooling to prevent overheating faults. does it work? yep. it definitely transfers heat out of the enclosure. is it an air conditioner? absolutely not. but if you just want to keep electronics under 100F, using these might do the trick at a significant discount and size bonus to a regular air conditioner.

Poor cooling
The hot side heatsink is too small for this application. It needs to be able to dissipate the 60 or 70 watts burned by the device, causing it to run too hot. The device can only cool to a specified delta-t (the temperature difference between the hot side and the cold side), so if the hot side is too hot, the cold side isn't going to be very cold. I tested mine and after the hot side heatsink warmed up to steady state the cold side was close to room temp.

How can I properly wire it without damage to the parts damage to the
Ot was not quite the system I was expecting. No instructions or specs of any kind.

Works great!
I I’ve this thing! I modified a mini fridge to use as a humidor and this is the heart of the whole machine. It draws about 8 amps during peak.

Works perfect
It's working properly, you just need to add a temp control or for replacement. Capacity cooling is equal to 1 feet.

Works well
The peltier works well. You can feel how cold the small heat sink gets. The large heat sink heats up pretty quickly so make sure that the large (computer fan) is always running when the peltier junction is connected to current. The only thing that needed to be adjusted was that the small fan rubs against the small heat sink and does not turn. The fan needs to be offset from the heat sink. This is not a problem in my application since I will replace the fan with another fan or larger heat exchanger

Perfect to cool down your dcdc charger in your ute tub

Takes 6.5 amps so needs a 240v to 12v converter off shore power when engine not charging battery.

good product

Tested but temperature can go below 25C. Will have to replace Peltier to see if it's faulty. Driven to 12.5V and 5A after trying at fixed 12V.

Everything works except one of the TEC modules and there was barely any thermal paste. Could see areas that had no contact. But either or very cheap fast delivery and easy to fix for cheap.
