Amazon Basics 52-Inch Indoor Outdoor Ceiling Fan, Five Dark Walnut Blades, Oil-Rubbed Bronze Finish

The first fan we received was damaged but Amazon sent a replacement right away. This ceiling fan was fairly easy for my husband and I to install and it works great. We have lights hanging on the patio so we didn’t want lighting on the fan itself. It’s not exactly quiet but it isn’t too loud. Hopefully it will last for several years.

Started with removing the old fan, out side patio, bought the dark bronze oiled fan with out the light kit. A plus was the manufacture packed a couple of extra screws and split lock washers for the blades, dropped one and gave up looking for it so used the extra one provided. Super quiet and moves a lot of air. Three speeds and a reverse switch is there. When installing the blades I left just one of the stops they use in shipping to hold the motor in place, this was a great aid when mounting the blades prevents them from unneeded movement until this procedure is complete. Overall this fan is a great replacement. Hits all the marks. All the reviews I’ve read on this fan graded it with 5 stars are well deserved.

Installed this in my tiki and seems to be nice for outdoor install. Hoping it can last through storms and winds in Florida hurricane season. I bought this for a great price to.

This fan was a great price and does a great job. No need to spend a bunch of money when this works perfectly.

Bought 2 for upstairs bedrooms. They look fantastic. Totally fiddly putting it together, but worth it.

It's hard to beat the price at around $50 per fan. It looks fine and installed ok, but after 6 months of use, 2 of the 4 that I bought started making metal rubbing sound when the fan rotates. I've yet to take one apart to investigate what's making that sound, but just sucks to have to troubleshoot it hence the 3 stars.

Went up easy, works great

The motor noise, even on the lowest speed, makes being in the room impossible! Feeling badly someone is going to take this off our trash, then go to trouble to install only to hear the noise! PS. The fan blades are plastic, not noted in description.
