Awesome
This item is high quality, do not be afraid to purchase. I love it. I can sit in the seat of my truck and and go through all the procedures without going back and forth under the hood. Best addition to the OBD1 you could buy.

TOO EXPENSIVE – But perfectly functioning a perfectly made OBD1 extension cord
TOO EXPENSIVE – But perfectly functioning a perfectly made OBD1 extension cord You can buy the complete Innova antique OBD1 code reader, and reference book, from all over Amazon for about $25. So, it is a complete ripoff price to charge so much for this necessary extension cord. You cannot perform all the diagnostic tests from having the Code Reader plugged in under the hood where you cannot see the codes or push the buttons. You need to be able to sit in the driver’s seat to perform some of the EEC-IV diagnostic tests e.g. step on the accelerator pedal, turn the steering wheel; turn the key on: KOEO or KOER, etc.. For this exorbitant price you could hire someone to hang out under the hood reading the Code Reader while you sit comfortably in the driver’s seat.

Nice extention cable.
Works as it should. Made it easy to read the code in my 94 E-350 ford van. The connection is way up by the battery and the code doesn't store so I have to count the blinks and then look up what the code is. Don't forget to make sure none of the pins slide back when you plug it in. Saw that on a you tube vid.

It is a needed component for me.
This cord attaches to the scanner and makes using the scanner so much easier. Gets you behind the wheel so that you can run the scan test properly. Hitting the brake when required, wide open throttle response, and turning the steering wheel are part of the KOER TEST. Extension cable makes it easy.

Kind of a must if you want to read the codes without a helper.
This extension cable sure has been a handy addition to the Innova Ford code reader. I like doing things without assistance when I can. This cable & the one-man brake bleeder are real winners.
