Pyle 19 Outlet 1U 19" Rackmount PDU Power Distribution Unit

If you're a true geek and you're serious about your rack setup, then you'll definitely appreciate the Pyle 19 Outlet PDU Power Distribution Supply Center Conditioner. This device packs a whopping 19 outlets into a single 1U rack-mountable unit, which means you'll never run out of power again. The sleek black design is perfect for any tech setup, and the unit is well-built and durable. But the real beauty of this device is in the power conditioning features. The PDU includes built-in surge protection, noise filtering, and voltage regulation, which means your sensitive equipment will be protected from power spikes, interference, and other electrical issues. The unit also includes a digital LCD display that provides real-time feedback on voltage, current, and power usage. This is incredibly useful for anyone who needs to monitor their power usage and ensure their equipment is running optimally. Overall, I'm really impressed with the Pyle 19 Outlet PDU and would definitely recommend it to any geek who takes their rack setup seriously. It's a must-have for anyone who wants the ultimate in power conditioning and distribution! 10 out of 10, would rack again.

Easy to mount in my rack. I love that there are abundant places to plug in, both front and back, and that there are usb ports for charging devices. I also like the short cables in the back, which makes it easier to plug into. I’ve hated trying to get a cable in the hole that I can’t see on previous conditioners I’ve had. Those cables are also easy to tuck to the sides of the case if not in use. Good product!

Yeah so we've had no issues with this and I totally prefer the flexible power on this unit rather than the standard one to buy.

Excellent rackmount solution to power plenty of gear. The USB ports are nice to keep your portable electronics charged during those long sessions. I also have a couple sets of monitors not pictured here powered from the rear outlets, and I love that there's now one switch to power them all without having to go round and switch on a dozen different bits of gear

So, like other reported, the screw holes dont align with the standard racks. if you are not afraid of using power tools then just use a drill bit for metal to enlarge the holes on each side. we did that and that bad boy is going nowhere and you dont notice it. Very useful with the extra power outlets and USB ports on the front. I would buy again.

This pigtail PDU allowed me to put all my power cords inside my stereo cabinet. Doing this let me retire a couple of surge protectors and clean up the area outside of my cabinet.

This product is potentially dangerous and should be avoided. After having some issues and contacting the company with no response, I investigated. I have some knowledge with electronics so I opened up the unit to have a look. This is advertised as having half hot, meaning that some outlets always have power while others have power only when switched on. That is not the case and all outlets are wired through the switch. In addition, I found that there is zero surge protection or conditioning - all outlets are wired directly to the main plug without any conditioning in between. Finally and most seriously, all outlets with the exception of the three front panel outs are wired backwards. They have reversed the polarity such that the hot wire from the plug is wired to the neutral socket on every one of the outlet pigtails. Reverse polarity: Increase potential electrical shocks Causes fire accidents May damage your house or office electrical equipment May result in frequent tripping fuses and circuit breakers The pigtails are a nice feature but this product is dangerous and should not be used.

As a simply AC Power distributor, it's solid. Lots of outlets on the back, each one with it's own short cord instead of flat mounted so adapters, or wall warts, don't take up any more outlet space than any other power cord. The front panel has 4 USB-A outlets that put out a total combined current of 5A, but "CHARGE" is misspelled as "CHAGE". This is the 2nd unit I've gotten and on both, they can't seem to get the vertical spacing for the rack ears correct. You can only put in all four screws if you vertically offset the unit by 1 screw hole which invades the rack space on the top or bottom. But if you're looking for a high-quality professional looking and performing power distribution center, keep looking. This is simple, basic and has flaws that show it was made on the cheap. It is nice having one simple power switch mut mountability is not ideal.

Heavy duty device and is working great. Very well protective for my audio devices

Is it normal to hear a slight buzz from the unit? It isn't loud but I can hear it when I place my ear very close to it. Other than that work exactly as advertised.

Excellent 19-port PDU that replaced 3 power bars from different vendors. Top-notch build, integrated short extension cords (to support large 'bricks' that would otherwise take up room) and convenient front-facing USB ports. Recommended for any pro audio or IT setup!

It is a solid device that fit in the AV rack fairly easily. USB ports was an added bonus. Easy to plug into and looks clean.

It fits well in a rack-mount system. Easy to install. The pigtails make it really easy to plug in clunky adapters etc. without blocking other outlets. I've had it for about a month. So far no issues. I haven't tried the USB outlets for anything.
