Good Gut Tribe - Organic Dehydrated Water Kefir Grains

Edit to say these did NOT work. I followed instructions from their website and nothing. I’ve since bought two packs of live / active (not dehydrated) kefir grains and started them yesterday and already see bubbles. This order is still sitting doing nothing. Water changed out three times. Fruit added to ‘second ferment’ neither this or the ‘new ferment’ are doing anything. Initial review: Grains are dark brown. Look cooked rather than dehydrated. Horrible looking, i can’t imagine that the taste won’t be impacted by this. We’ve put some into water to see what happens, but i think these will be returned. I tried to ring them using their contact number on the website but it rang with a warbled ring tone three or four times and cut out. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I added blended mixed berries to the 2nd ferment for a fruit flavour, tasty

I am disgusted with Good Gut Tribe. I have cultivated tibicos water for years, occasionally renewing the old stock. I bought these and they do not activate. Not only does the QR code on the packet not work, their Web page does not open; but the grains simply disintegrate on the sugar solution for activating them. Utter waste of money. Disgraceful. This company is taking our money under false pretenses.

Been making Kefir every week for 10 years. Never failed. This product just does not work.

Followed instructions from supplier, tried two different batches without successfully making kefir. Yeah

Absolutely rubbish. Followed instructions to rehydrate and they did nothing. A complete rip off. DO NOT BUY!
